Due to the fact The Mod Archive has been (and still is) in development, there are occasions where change is necessary as part of survival.

Summary: While direct linking to the downloads is still permitted, a new link type is required.

Long story: The reason for this is that downloads up until now have used the filename of the module to locate the file in the database. While this has worked for a reasonable amount of time, it has become a severe resource hog on the infrastructure as the site has become progressivly bussier.

I am no longer going to be providing accurate downloads via the old link format, I will instead be switching the old script to a loose-filename match (non binary). Therfore there may be instances where users of this old script will get the wrong module!

That is why I would like you to make the choice of the following:

• Link to the module page on Mod Archive.org. The use of the module page redirection link will mean you do not have to worry about fixing links in the future, as I can make changes to the redirection this end without any influences on you. For instance, this particular module's module page is: module.php?48331
• Link to the downloads using the new data/downloads.php script. It requires the Module ID number for each module. Example: data/downloads.php?48331
• Continue use of this old script, which won't have any future gurantees of working
