Thanks, I was trying to get that to work...never worked with HTML before...
Also, this is the template I was thinking of for the threads in the artist subforum. Maybe even images for albums, etc.
-
I'm really not proud of the ending on Mellow Dish, but a man does what he can ;).
-
finished two new ones, and I'm gonna get them uploaded soon.
-
sorry for the quadruple post, but...
UPDATE:
- It turns out that I'm not really finished with "A Moved Shot," because the ending sounds horrible, so I'm finishing that
- I started a new song, and I'm liking where it's going (it's in the vein of Breakbust, but not quite the same). I hope you'll enjoy it!
EDIT 1: Is there any way for me to be able to put the songs beside the album art? any help would be much appreciated.
EDIT 2: ANd yes I know that Skys is spelled wrong. It's done on purpose, because I'm coo lyk dat...white boy ftw!!!
EDIT 3+4: Grammar/spelling

UPDATE:
- Dem's new musiks! I made a new song ("A Moved Shot"), but it was to long for Nitrotracker to save properly (without crashing) so I made a continuation ("Into Focus")
- I'm still working on "The End Begins (But Leaves Too Soon)," I'll get that done soon!
leave some comments on what you think!
Oh, and sorry for the "Michael Jacksonish" beginning to "A Moved Shot," I was just testing out a new sfx that I found on Saga Musix site (THANKS SAGA!).
-
While it's fine to post announcements here about your music, etc... please refrain from using the shoutbox for solicitation/promoting. There are rules about that ;)
Thanks for your understanding :)
-
whoops
could you delete my posts in the shoutbox then
sorry!!!! I kinda forgot that!!!
EDIT: also, if you could tell me how to delete my own, that would be cool too!

Update:
Three new songs:
- The End Begins (But Leaves Too Soon)
- Lead In (my first completed 7/8 project)
- To Project (the sequel to Lead In)
Two other songs I've finished for the Soundevotion Comp. (Now I'm just deciding which one to send in.)
Do you think I should post links to both and you guys tell me which one to submit. It's kinda difficult to choose. One's my first foray into dubstep (it sounds fairly good) and the other one is kinda hard to describe (weird bass with some interesting drum parts (I guess)...I'll try and upload them both today or tommorow...depending on how much time I have...
-
The downloads didn't work for me but I went to your space. Cool tunes. Keep tracking and upload and spread the word about Nitrotracker. :)
-
what exactly went wrong with the downloads?

what exactly went wrong with the downloads?
Me, it was late and I didn't see the capchta in the corner, it looked as the files were removed. Works just fine if you just take a proper look.

BIG Update:
-New Songs:
- The End Begins (but leaves too soon)
- Lead In
- To Project (a sequel to "Lead In")
- Soles Need Support
- Call of Remount (the beginning (single pattern) is inspired by a song my marching band played in the fall of "08; in my opinion my "fullest" sounding song)
-I'm posting the two demos that I want to submit to the Soundevotion Competition here:
- "Compo Tune (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IJ4HI5S3)"
- "ct-sdc1 (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JO8GY4YG)" (which stands for "Compo Tune-SDC 1")
The names will be edited once I get an idea of which one I'm sending in to the competition.
PLEASE COMMENT ON THE TWO DEMOS AND WHICH ONE YOU THINK I SHOULD SUBMIT!

UPDATE:
-Working on fixes for my old songs so that they can convert into mp3 and play on computer xm players without the stops not showing up.
-Some new songs:
- Lamplight
- Korogorations (with samples recorded from KORG DS-10)
-Working on a song called "Blockit" (a very loose remix of the Gorillaz song "Rockit")
-I'm trying to get a good mix up of Nitrotracker and KORG DS-10 if I could get my hands on some recording equipment (*hint*). But until then, I'll just have to record the patterns or samples. Oh well...
EDIT:
-Linked the first EP in the OP
-Added the two new songs
-
UPDATE:
- -I am working on a quartet (maybe a quintet?) of new songs. I will release them as a full EP (called "Secret EP") soon. So far I've made two full songs and am working on finishing the last ones.
- Progress:
- Secret: Path
- Secret: Find
- Go (Partially complete)
-
Why dont you make an artist page on the mod archive ? (Megaupload sucks)
-
I have, I just don't submit to that often or not at all lately, because it isn't guaranteed that the XMs will be approved nor that the XMs will work in any player besides Nitrotracker (thus the reason why many of mine haven't been approved: looped samples keep on going and going, even when they are stopped with "--" which is a very long and tediously annoying task of fixing, therefore, I don't bother with it anymore.) The use of the artist profile, etc. in the Modarchive is an overall incredibly annoying experience (but that might just be me). Maybe I'll flood them with my new songs, maybe...
-
UPDATE:
- "Secret EP" work still under way. Editing and such is taking a long time. And I mean a loooonnnnnnggggg time. Also, I'm just becoming disinterested in finishing it. Maybe I'll post the incomplete version soon. Maybe...
- Been working on a Co-op song with NotOminous, will update/upload soon
- Will flood TMA with new songs soon.

HUGE UPDATE WITH PLANS FOR MY SUMMER PROJECTS:
- Have started work on a new project. It's called "The Influenza Series" (will change name soon) that will go through every "strain" of influenza (H1N1-->H16N1, H1N2-->H16N2, H1N3-->H16N3, etc.) This will be an ongoing project. So far, I'm planning for "N1" to be mainly, if not only drum samples. Other than that, I will think up what I plan to do as I go. "N1" should be done by the end of the summer.
- I have asked for the director's score for a concert band song "Abram's Pursuit." This song is really intricate and layered, and I think it sounds really awesome. So, I've decided that I'm going to try to tackle the song. The only problem is the depth of the song, so I have chosen to track each section of the band as a different module each, translate the individual modules into mp3, then merge those mp3s and fiddle around with the stereo settings in the process, creating a final song in mp3 form. Each instrument will have a different sample sounding somewhat like the original horn or different depending on what I think sounds better. All the music will be transposed to the key of C (or concert key) so that all chords and notes work together. This will be a massive undertaking, but I hope that I will have this song completed by the end of the summer/the middle of fall. Wish me luck!
- Work on "Secret EP" is ongoing, and I am nearing the end of it. It will probably be just three songs with really short finale being the closing fourth song. Hopefully this will be done by the end of May and released in mp3 form around then as well.
- I have also started a new song titled "Atmosphere," and I might or might not continue work on that. Hopefully I will, seeing as it will be my first atmospheric/ambient work.
-
UPDATE:
NOTE: All other projects are still being worked on!
- "The Influenza Series" is now know as "Sickness in Science." I have only started work on one new song, because of end of school madness and summer slowness. The first song (H1N1) is about 15-20 seconds long, because I have to make 16 songs per album. These songs will be short, so hopefully, once I get past this "only percussion" album (N1) I can start making some neat, short tunes! Also, this has been turned into a side project as a result of this next project.
- MISC: I have decided (as inspired by the 8bitcollective competition) to make 1 song per day during the month of July (or at least I will try to keep up with that schedule). I will be making songs (or trying to make them) up until the beginning of July in preparation, because I have fallen out of the practice of tracking. Look out for the finished versions of Secret EP and "Atmosphere." The latter has been finished. It is short and I mean really, REALLY short. I have decided to just loop the last two of a total of seven consecutive patterns. I will post that soon.
-------------
So, just to recap, I have these project lined up for completion by the end of the summer:
- Post/Work on "Atmosphere"
- Finish up and post Secret EP in both XM and mp3 format
- Make 1 song per day during the entirety of the month of July and post the results daily
- Start and finish each component of "Abram's Pursuit," sompile them, mix them properly, and post the finished project here
- Complete N1 (hopefully)
A final request:
If anyone actually reads these, could you PM me or post here, so that I know if should even keep on posting these updates?
-
Okay, since no one actually looks at these, I will just post to remind myself of what I have to do.
UPDATE:
My 30 day challenge (one song per day) is coming up. If you want to partcipate, then just PM me. I will be setting up a thread to post my work, but I can also post your songs if you want to submit them.

It's been over one year since I last posted here on my musical endeavours. To an audience of about one person, I finally return. When I get my hard drive with everything on it finally fixed, I will be making a few SoundCloud profiles to post up my MatriM3 work, my approx single "City," and, finally, my future Guerrilla Bell work. This means I won't be posting here as often as when I was making music in the past. I'll probably post when I put out a new ablum or something, but I WILL post in the future. Until then...
