Title: MilkyTracker 0.90.85 Release Candidate

Greetings  ;D

It's been 20 months since the last release of MilkyTracker, which means it's about time for a new version :)

The plan is to release the new version Real Soon, but before we do that we could do with some help testing the release on the various different computer setups out there - hence this "Release Candidate".  The following links point to binaries for the most popular platforms:

Windows (http://df0.myzen.co.uk/milkytracker/0.90.85/MilkyTracker-win_VS_293.zip) (2000 or later)
OSX 10.6 (http://df0.myzen.co.uk/milkytracker/0.90.85/MilkyTracker-osx10.6_293.zip)
OSX 10.5 (http://df0.myzen.co.uk/milkytracker/0.90.85/MilkyTracker-osx10.5_293.zip)
Ubuntu x86 (http://df0.myzen.co.uk/milkytracker/0.90.85/milkytracker-ubuntu_x86_294.tgz) Requires libzzip and libsdl (this may also run on other GNU/Linux systems)

These archives contain only the MilkyTracker binary/executable.  MilkyTracker should be able to run from whatever directory it is unpacked into.

For other Unix/Posix systems, the SDL version of MilkyTracker can be built from the following source archive:

milkytracker-0.90.85_294.tar.bz2 (http://df0.myzen.co.uk/milkytracker/0.90.85/milkytracker-0.90.85_294.tar.bz2)

Note: This source is intended is intended for the SDL version only, it may not contain all the files necessary for the Windows/OSX builds

I would be grateful if you could spend some time testing this release candidate.  I'm especially interested in whether the SDL version builds cleanly on the multitude of supported platforms.

Great. I'm using it under Windows XP. It no longer hangs when exiting (audio driver issue?) which is great.

Shift-U for unmute does not work as the changelog states.

Great news! I've been away for quite a while but I'll test it on my system. I've checked the milkyTracker web site several times and it never loads, just times out. Has there been a change in url?

Windows Xp sp3
Raeon 7550 GFx Card
Amd 7550 dual core 2.7ghz
2GB Ram

And again, too bad I've not been around for a while. I'm into making games with Game Makers but i also want to try composing my own tunes for it. :)

NOW I see the new .org url for MT. Great!
