This is my first time using milkytracker, but it got into the archive, I've no idea how.

I'm looking for feedback as I have nearly no idea what I am doing with trackers.

i don't know if you've already taught yourself since this is months later, but you can change the sound a lot by messing with the volume envelopes in instrument edit

beyond that, you could play around with effects
