No chance of correcting mistakes modules after upload?

(1/1)

1.2, License to redistribute. By providing a song/file to modarchive.org/com you furthermore agree to give anyone who wishes to redistribute your song/file a license to download the song/file from modarchive.org/com and do so, provided it has stayed in its original, unmodified, unbundled form.

Saw this on the Uploads T&C...does this mean we cant correct mistakes after upload (especially the last part)? For example, the song title, syncing out-of-sync samples, instrument text...

Saga Musix:
No, it means that people cannot just download your module and modify it and then redistribute it.
It's generally possible to upload small corrections but if this becomes a habit you should probably start to think twice if your module is really finished before submitting it to ModArchive. You should also notify me in advance because otherwise it's likely that I will just reject the module as already existing on the archive.

How do I notify you beforehand regarding reuploading modules? Do I private message you or reply to you here? And do I describe what corrections I had done to the module?

Saga Musix:
Send me a private message. Generally it helps if you also describe what you have changed (e.g. fixed patterns, replaced samples, edited song message, etc.).
