| A ambient song paying tribute to movies such as Aliens, Star Wars, Starship Troopers, and other Sci-fi films. A pretty good song, as it conveys a sense of space and greatness, as what a movie theme should do. However, it does, at times, seem very "empty", and lacking in depth. The rhythm through the song is erratic at times also, and is distracting. One movement that comes to mind is near the middle in which there are these kettle drums in the background that increase tempo, but doesnt quite match the rest of the instruments tempo. Also, perhaps a slight better sample selection would make the song better (a less distorted-sounding bass drum, perhaps a clearer trumpet sample in the opening "vocal" section come to mind). Technically, its sound. Notice no real problems with the samples other than the fact that the bass drum is rather distorted (but, that may be his choosen effect that he wanted). He does use a few effect (portamento) to aid the song, but nothing fancy it seems. | |

| Plain and simple, this s3m is just mixes of various straight sample rips of KMFDM's "Juke Joint Jezebel". Only the chorus vocals are used in this s3m. For what this s3m is trying to do, the lenght of it is too long (it just keeps on looping over and over again the same intro, chorus, and the middle break chords). Additional instruments, or variations of some of the loops would make it a bit more appealing. Extensive use of sound loops makes the song somewhat repeatative. Need to work on editing and tweaking the sound loops (the beginning and ends of the loops are apparent from the breaks in the beat). Also, the transitions between different sound loops are somewhat harsh and abrupt at times. | |

| One word... "WOW!" I like it. This track starts out with a 1930s/40s type music style and goes into one fo the best mod songs I have ever heard. It's nice and soothing. | What a neat idea! :) This song starts out with a symphony type song then all the sudden changes to a fast paced techno song. This song deserves a 10 for origionality ;) This song is allot of fun! check it out. The lead is really nice sounding. Some of the samples of the symphany could be better. They are average but could be better. I'll give the artist a break though, since I know that it is extremely hard to find good REALISTIC samples. | |

| A strong Science-Fiction theme seems to run throughout with an ambient sort of spacey. The drum-roll in the middle was enough to lift the song to an exciting level before a nice fadeout and big finale. If I have to keep listening to this song it will quickly become my favourite! Some great use of fanfares sporadically throughout the song, used fantastically at the beginning and dropping off later. Very interesting use of beeps with varying tones and volumes. The crazy laugh in the middle doesn't really add much, but helps liven up the song during the middle. | |

| Only reason why this one has a score at all is cos i used to like watching the flintstones as a kid. | Something just appeals to me about this song, and i just can't put my finger on it. Its definately refreshing to see someone have a really good shot at a thumping rock/beat track. This one, although a little repetitive, sounds way wicked, and could easily fix into something like a racing game. quality sample work, some nice examples of special effects in it. had to hold down my monitor because of the bass :) | |

| Well, altogether not a bad mod at all. its got a very nice sound to it, and will appeal to those who enjoy hose music. What stops this from having a higher sound is two things. Firstly its pretty repetitive, and secondly on some of the patterns, the music sounds like its really off-key compared to the rest of the song. still worth a shot ppl Some nice samples in this. | Nice guitar riffs, but I think I could here a drum loop being used. And that's ok if it fits perfectly, but here it's not placed right. Uses some sound clips like "I'm alive" and "I'm not dead". I really ahte drum loops, and think that the tech level would've been drastically improved if the author had managed to create some good beats by using the three instruments, bassdrum, hihat and snare. Which could've well have been done. | |

| Very boring and short module, only 1.37 long. The bells are actually quite cool, but the song should've been a lot longer. Horror strings appear around 25secs, and they're spooky. If only the author had done more of it. It's quite boring to listen to the same shit too.... Hardly any effects used at all....a basic module, which should've been longer. | |

| It's hard to do a musical review on something that doesn't have any melody. If you like hard beat,this is the mod for you ! I thought the bassline was over powering,and annoying. | This mod sound quite nice if you like bassy music with a good beat and great use of programming effects such as accenting/appregiation and echo. The chord sequence thoughout is 7th and 5th chord progressions and sounds great along with the electronic techno beat. The bass line does get a little repetative, but the extra accompinent and sounds introduced later in the mod keep interest. The break in and break out of bass and drums is a good concept, leaving a peacseful progression of chords then rattling in with the bass and drums. Overall: A pleasant ambient/techno mod to listen to. Ok, first thing here, this mod is only 12Kb big! If you just read the above text, then i think you can see that the artist has gone into great detail of using small simple samples to obtain great effects. This is the sort of mod you could say was 100% economic in concerns of disk space. The use of chord appregiation here makes the tune more jumpy so that it stands out well. The use of tracks in this mod is reasonalby good with ample detail to effects taken. This artist certainly knows his way around the tracking software. Great Job. | |

| The song was so slow and lacking "ummmmfff" at the very begining that I thought I was at my great-aunt Ludwina's funeral.However that didn't last long !!!! Once the beat found it's was onto the scene,it really rocked ! The voices are mesmerizing as they ask you "can you feel the beat"...."can you feel the beat"? Download this..and "feel the beat" ! The voices are good and quite clear,as are all the samples. The drums are tiny bit heavy,but I think thats ok,,,considering the title of the song ;) There are several nice little sound effects that I thought were pretty cool and really add to the hypnotic style of the song. | Musically this song seems to focus on bass and rhythm. It's style is very unique, but with its creativity comes some problems. There is a major annoying high pitched looping sound, which begins in pattern 9 and continues throughout various parts of the song. This tune needs cleaner, and more well-tuned instruments. That would bring lots of improvement. Also, the volumes don't match up great in this piece. Some are too high compared to other instruments, which ends up drowning some of the sound. | |

| This song is interesting. It has a soft rock beat to it while a panflute carries the only thing close to a melody. There is a lot of repetativeness in the piece. There is a piano that comes in during the 5th pattern and continues in various patterns and it is completely out of tune. This hurts the song in a major way. Technically, the song is far from complex. It is in stereo which is a plus, and there are some global effects. But for a piece like this, more effects would improve it a lot. | A nice mysterious spy piece. There is no real melody, but a catchy rhythm is played throughout the whole song. The title definately fits this piece. Most of the instruments used are timpani, and synthesized basses. It just lacks variety. Too repetative. This artist uses a fairly nice panning technique, and has good use of stereo. | I like the beginning of this song. With the crowd cheering in the background and a cool bassline kicking in. The melodies are well made but once in a while a very annoying sound appears. It might sound pretty repetative, but it is a nice song. It does sound right, except for that sample mentioned earlier. It uses a drumloop for the drumpart, but that does sound right for this kind of songs. I still can't get my mind of that sound appearing in the song...why is it there ? | There is only so much you can do with the X-files theme song,however I thought the dude/dudette who made this track did a really great job. It starts out like every other version of the song I've heard,but then something wonderful happens.The tempo changes, and there is EVEN a tiny variation to the melody.Makes the whole thing a lot more listener-friendly ! There aren't too many of those cool little sound effects in this one,but I think that makes it stand out from the rest. The creator of this mod didn't fall into the fatal trap that most do ,and try to cover a bunch of mistakes with "awe inspiring" sound effects.The samples are all good,and the bassline of just plain groovy. I give this one two thumbs up !!! | |
