I am a video gamer. I enjoy RPG (Japanese and western), adventure, and some action games. Having been a gamer nearly all my life I've come to respect and enjoy game soundtracks, and electronically-inclined genres outside of it.

One of my other hobbies is working on unofficial translation hacks of Japanese video games never released in English, and I tend to focus on the niche "Tales" RPG series from Namco, which is a favorite of mine. Some make it over officially, some don't... I try to pick up the slack, when and where I can.

My favorite mod artist in the universe is Awesome. His works are the most consistent in compositional quality I've ever heard, regardless of music medium. Nearly everything from him is a worth at least an eight on a scale out of ten, and that's using five as a very strict average. His work puts me in a world like no other. Truly lives up to his name.

It's a shame Awesome doesn't compose nearly as often as he used to, but I honestly enjoy the style he had going on between 1997-2000 the most, compared to more recent works.
