This reminds me of Yoshi's island. My memory is fuzzy, but I think there was this crystal cave level with a song like this one. Lots of strange sounds in that game.

This song has a nice metal hook, and I really wish you did more with it. The "zwhooom" effect at the end is a nice addition. Other than that, this song is just too short to get more than a 6/10 for "above average".

Highly complex and fun. My ears are always one step behind when listening to this song. Though it does feel like the two synths are fighting for the melody in some sections, which is unpleasantly chaotic.

This seems to be another one of those stream-of-consciousness songs, in which the artist has no plans, and just makes it up as they go. In other words, this song is bonkers, but what did I expect from a song named as such? The voice samples are really something else. . .

3/10 means listenable. The song starts off nice, but then reverts to savage techno garbage. To be brutally honest, this song is utterly incoherent. There is no clear musical message being sent here. Each of the individual sections sound good, but please do NOT just smash them together like that. Do better.

Do I hear DISCO music. . ? It's really fun, because sometimes the song will try to fake you out. For example, sometimes the drum will miss a beat, before coming in on the very next beat, stronger than ever. The bad news is that your song is migraine inducing. It sounds SOO blocky. There needs to be a blending of sounds. Lastly, some of the chord progressions in this song just don't make sense.

Starts with this really NICE retro synth line, and it only gets better. This song gives me some very strong dungeon crawler vibes. Ever played Castlevania for the Super Nintendo? Would be a 10/10 if you added some MORE cool stuff to it.

When I saw the title "Into the Light", I thought this song was going to be religiously themed. After listening, I now think that "Into the Light" refers to an alien abduction. We did a lot of those back in the days. Regardless, I really like the bouncy bass, though everything else is just OK in my opinion. Keep getting better!

If you are going to have an ELEVEN-MINUTE song, I expect it to have at least two mood changes throughout. Otherwise, you just end up with a boring song! This song tried to just keep piling stuff on, which gave me a headache at about the 8 minute mark. Last but not least, the voice sample you used: "Psychedelic music is music that expands your consciousness" Well it doesn't really add anything to the song. I feel like you should have chosen a better voice sample.

As of my writing this, 10 people have favorited this song. Is this song really worth the hype. . ? No, because this song deserves way MORE than 10 favorites. Unfortunately, most good songs on this site seem to be underappreciated. I feel no need to comment on the artists technical skill, as it is self evident. Rather, I will comment on the atmosphere that this song creates. It feels like I am spacefaring again, watching the stars turn into dashes as I jump to lightspeed. I did not grow up in the 80's, but this song somehow "takes me back". Great music for a nighttime drive.

The background is, ironically, the star of the show in this piece. The song starts off sane, But then it steadily gains momentum. Midway through, after much buildup, the song just goes off the rails, but in a somehow laid-back manner. Nice chord progressions as well.

"sweet linus pie" . . . Is that a reference to the Linus Torvalds of Linux? Anyway, I like the springy sound, but it gets annoying pretty quickly. One other thing to think about is chord progressions. I don't know anything about music theory, but from what I can tell, you use the same two chords over and over again, which is boring.

The melody starts off deceptively simple. But then, the song starts to go on an adventure. I can feel the scary vibes, but there is also an element of bravery. To me it sounds like a song about perseverance despite the odds. I would like to know the story behind this song. I really like the rumble effects.

A lot of songs on this site have "alien" in their names, but don't really feel alien in any way. This song truly does feel alien, which is hard to achieve. I don't even know if I like this song, but it is unarguably very creative. At only a minute and a half, this song never gets old. It must be because the rhythm is so elastic.

The song has many emotions, but ultimately the prevailing emotion is that of mystery. After listening to a bunch of energetic techno songs just previously, this is like a cold glass of water in the desert. The transitions between sections are sudden for such a slow song, but ultimately, all the transitions make sense. Maybe a mysterious song should have sudden transitions to keep the listener on edge. There are a few lofi elements in this one, which I like. Incredible replay value.

This song is cinematic, but greatly dissonant in a way that does not enhance dramatic effect. Unfortunately, most of the sounds are way off center, which is fine if you know how to use that effect, but you clearly do NOT know how. There is also extreme friction between your samples. Some of those sounds just do NOT belong together! My final problem with this "song" is that it doesn't know what it is doing. The song will often get sidetracked chasing some horrid variation in melody. Then, when the main song finally returns, the transition is always gratingly unsatisfactory.

This is exactly how an alien sounds Are you an alien. . ? How else would you know. . ? Jokes aside. This song has many interesting parts made up of many unique samples. However, it is very unfocused. The song lacks direction, and it is too long for my taste.
