artist Hello all you Happy People. This is one of my favorite dance tracks because of all the layered melody. The bassline part is borrowed from the intro track of Tass Times in Tonetown. What can I say? I love that funky jingle. And who better to make you feel better than Droopy Dog? :-D - BLuRry

...Hello all you happy people!

Okay, so my mod-release rate has gone down.  The group I'm in
(Opiate) has been inactive to the point of near-extinction.  My web-page
hasn't been updated in six months.

                                I'll be honest.

                                I was abducted.

                          By Seinfeld impersonators.

                                 It was scary.

                                   REALLY!!

Seriously, I've been pulling up a 2.4 gpa in interests of getting
a paying job once I get outta college.  However, in lieu of my recent 21st
birthday, I decided to crank out another one.  (ironically, the 21st
pattern was tracked on my birthday -- right where the mega-surround beat
loop kicks in.)

If it weren't for the Droopy sample I used, this mod would've been
entitled "Higher Energy" but I finally decided that would be too cheesy.

(As if the 8-bit samples were bad enough.)

Notes:
------
I would be crediting half the freakin' #trax community if I listed
where all the samples came from.  To be honest, I don't know anymore.
They've been sitting in a mixed-up directory for a year.  Some old.  Some
new.  Some (most) really suck.  The droopy sample was off some web-site,
and I had to clean it up with CoolEdit '96 before it was really audible
enough to use.  The "TAKE ME" sound was from the (church of the) KLF.
(Not Kosmiq, I mean the Justified Ancients of MuMu.)

Oh yeah, and that whole abduction thing was a joke, really.  They
were actually dressed like one of the Kennedy's.  (Thank God[ess] for
trees.)

Greetings/Thanks:
-----------------
God(ess) - For way too many reasons to go into here.

I _would_ thank my roommates Tim and Andy for encouragement and
support here, but those lazy motherf***ers never read these texts, let
alone acknowledge the fact that these info messages exist.

If anyone in my family has been brave enough to get into a player
program to read this, I salute you and will buy you dinner.  (This
includes those not within a 400 mile radius of me.)

On a serious note, I deeply thank all those who stop by my site
and let me know what they think of the tune-age.  I appreciate all the
e-mail that you people send me.  Y'all are the only real reason I still do
public releases.

Another big wave of the hand to all those at the Electronic Music
Studio at UT.  (especially Rachel and "Pinky")  You people rock in
frequencies higher than I can hear.  Seriously, I'm learning a lot now in
your hands than I could've on my own.   (and having access to professional
equipment is kinda neat, too. ;-)

        Hello to - Joey - Scooter - Al - Maggie ;-) - SpiritEagle - Toufic
- Renfro - Nebula (stop mass-mailing to my e-mail addy.  I'm serious.) -
Iomega (You've saved the world) - Creative Labs (With Ensoniq parts,
wouldya' stop using cheap DAC's for once?!) - Rapsan - Claude (let's
bar-b-q) - Timelord (Do u exist anymore?) - Pulse (thankyou thankyou
thankyou thankyou thankyou -- I propose we all pay homage to Mr. Lim
RIGHT NOW!) - Roberto Concina (Great 2nd album - beats the shit outta the
first by a longshot) - I know nobody in their right mind is still
reading this - Escher (Meyow right back atcha, kitty.) - Sony (These
headphones rock.) - Levi's (Thank you for preventing me from being naked
in public) - Cat (This tuning fork you gave me has come in _very_
handy) - All Local Austin Bands (Play that funky music) - Fossil (for
keeping time so well) - Laura Croft (Baby, what'syo#?!) - Abe the Mudokon
(I freed ya' buddy) - PowerBar (for being the ultimate breakfast food) -
Marlboro (FUCK YOU!!! I QUIT!!! HAHAHAHA!!!) - Joe Camel (For being the
oldest smoker still alive - but then again you're a cartoon character, so
does it really count enough to be in the Guiness Book?) - Shiner Bock (for
Fucking me up.) - Coffee (for aiding in recovery from too much Shiner
Bock) - Jell-o (for no good reason) - Whoever invented the question mark -
And a final thank you to those stupid boring people with no lives or
technical knowledge that suck the bandwidth dry from the phone lines all
the way to the backbone.  It's thanks to all you porn-viewing,
shareware-downloading, I.d.10.t-error-causing muthas that prevent me from
getting the stuff I need when I need it off of the 'net.  Screw you.  Go
develop lives and stop wasting your time.

Okay, so I'm a hypocrite.  a lil' porn isn't _that_ bad from time
to time... and shareware isn't too unappreciable, as long as you find the
right "Serialz" page to help you get the most out of it... heheheh...
uhm... So I'll just condemn those who surf the web looking for pictures of
daffodils and tiger-lillys to e-mail their sick grandmother who can't even
remember what a flower is due to an advanced case of alzheimer's disease.
There.  That's sufficient.  That takes care of 10% of the over-population.

I have a question. Why the hell are you still reading this?  Would
you hit F5 or press the play button if you haven't done so already?
Please? Just this once.  Oh, Come on!!!  It can't be that hard!

What?  Your F5 key is broken?  Well... um...  just press F7 and
hit the + key on the keypad to advance the patterns.  Huh?  Whadda mean
that's too difficult?!  There's only 43 patterns!  Wuss.  Go listen to a
Hanson CD or something...  But whatever you do, be HAPPY!

By the way, the intro patterns are SUPPOSED TO SUCK!  Hah... it's
all a subliminal effect to make you, the listener, appreciate everything
after the 3rd pattern...  Did it work?  Send me some mail...
