Artist's Comments

No samples were ripped from DS games. All samples except PSG tones, sine waves, and reference tone, were downsampled from higher-quality samples from Saga Musix's library (on his website), and from freewavesamples.com.
Sine wave, reference tone, and PSG tones self-generated.

Preferably listened to with no interpolation and no volume ramping. - K. Jose

Channel arrangement and sound quality based on Nintendo DS handheld sound
handling:
16 channels
All support PCM (8 or 16-bit)/ADPCM formats, and direct PCM audio streaming
from software.
Channels 9-14 support PSG pulse wave (12.5, 25, 37.5, 50, 62.5, 75 and 87.5%
duty cycles).
Channels 15 and 16 support PSG noise generation.
Mixer in the real handheld is at 1048576Hz stereo with 24-bit precision.
Final output in the real handheld is at 32768Hz stereo with 10-bit precision.

Playback recommendation: 32000 or 44100Hz stereo 8 or 16-bit, no sample
interpolation and no volume ramping.

Intro and end sequences for this composition simulate broadcast sign-on and
signoff respectively.
