This songy, 'Eve Of The Apocalypse', is taken from MALEVOLENT CREATION's
perhaps best album (IMO :) called 'Retribution', released in 1992 ...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been planning on covering this song since start of my Autopsy boom
in summer 2000, but it took almost 6 months to start this. Well, after
starting it, the song became ready in one day :) Started this yesterday,
made the easier first half, and today the end half (from 1:25 forwards).

So, why this song? I have tablature for only this song of OLD Malevolent
material. I also have 2 tabs for "in cold blood", but this song easily
tops those cause old Malevolent Creation was something I have always
truly liked. Correction: Loved! :) It is easy to hear how Malevolent's
early material (debut album, and 2nd album, this 'Retribution') is most
influenced by two things: 1. Slayer and 2. Florida death metal. As I
happen to adore both of those, it partly explains why I have always liked
Malevolent too :) Not only the OLD material is awesome, but none of their
albums have never been disappointment to me. Shit, I must get that new
one, "Envenomed" and SOON :) !!!

I thought to make vocals for this, at first, but then I dropped the idea
cause the lyrics are simply so fuckin long. This would have been at least
2 mb song with them, I guess ... And another thing is that I couldnt have
made the vocals good enough. There are parts where Hoffman sings like
almost 10 seconds VOCAL leads, with low growling ... hell yeah! It sounds
awesome on the original song, and I couldnt dare to spoil this song ...

ALSO - Malevolent songs are on the borderlines of my guitar skills, and
as THIS song, the tablature I had - it didnt contain the section from
1:25 to 2:35 ... I had to find the riffs myself, and there are so damn
complicated sections - I made em in a much more simple way, trying to
imitate the original as good as possible. It came out OK at some points,
good enough for my rough taste. ENJOY!!!
