".. a tune for you, Steph P"
by Davey Flop-It of UnCo! Whatever Productions and Inflicted.
  (c) Saturday 16 Nov 2002.

Playing time: 01m30
Samples: all mine (w/ co-operation of Stef B (not to be confused for the
female the song is written for - Stef B is a drumming man)) except for
the electric piano-type sound which is anonymous (ROMEOST2.856).

Chord changes:
 E9, D9, D7/flat9, A11/7;
 G#m7/9, Em6, Am6, Bm, D, Gadd5, F#6/9, B7

Lyrics:
you made me feel so comfortable
on one of the most beautiful days in the world
could this be how the rest of life is spent?
could i ask where did you go?
 will we ever meet again?
 ooh i'd like to know
too many more words will cheapen the moment
so instead i'll write a tune for you

this is my first proper attempt at a jazz style of song, and certainly my
first ever attempt at soul-style singing and lyrics.. but it just came
out, i had no idea what was coming out when i wrote it because it came out
in like a few mins with me sitting there with my guitar, going through
some words i'd previously written a few hours ago then conjuring up
memories of a cute chickie i met one night after busking in the Cross..
which led to us smooching for quite a few hours after some beers together
with a couple of other ppl we met.. as the words go, "will we ever meet
again? i'd like to know.."
i played it to my brother just before it was finished and he commented,
"what's that meant to be? a drunk version of Billy Joel?" mwhahaha.. funny
farken :P..
anyhow, after all this stupid seriousness, it's time to go out with my
guitar and an armful of copies of my LP and fuck some trees.. up
dendrophilia!__!#%$ :)

btw, UnCo! Whatever Productions' LP (the aforementioned one), "Emotions
Gemini" is out on 12" transparent blue 220g vinyl, for $25 (for a limited
time) in shops and $20 off me in person.. it's 39m15 approx and 14
tracks.. the stores it's currently available at (probably more later):
Enthusiasms (Pitt St), Next Level (Bathurst St), Utopia Import Records
(George St), Red Eye (Shop 1 King St), Reachin (Oxford St), BPM, Acetate,
Good Groove (all Crown St), Spank! (Bourke St), Collect, Beatdisc
(Parramatta), Lazy Daze (Penrith), Rock Factory & Hewlett's (Nowra),
Discovery (Hornsby), Warped (King's Cross), Engadisc (Engadine), Jolly
Rogers (Cronulla), The Sound Garden (Hurstville), Parade Records (Bondi),
Sandy's Music (Dee Why), UNsound (Wynyard).

and remember, you're not a dendrophile unless you FUCK A TREE!_#!__#%%$^
