Agh, what is wrong with this thing? It won't play it!!! AGHHH! Oh, there
we go.

Continuing on from "L", "Known Ends" is also a tune that's been gathering
dust on my hard drive for nearly 5 years. I've edited the intro down a bit
because it went on for at least twice as long before anything really
happened. I think the main reason I never released this one originally is
because it seems to go off on several different tangents and doesn't
really settle on anything. Then it just gives up and fades out. Again,
story of my life. Still, not a bad B-side I suppose.

All this listening to old mods and writing notes again made me nostalgic
for the old days. I've been playing around with some new tune ideas using
Impulse Tracker and as I said in the notes of "L" it's amazing how much I
can remember after not using IT for so long. It also proves I'm better at
composing in IT than I am in Reason, even with a midi keyboard.

I saw something at the pub the other day that just sums things up. A man
claiming to be a police super at the local station was as drunk as
anything, and hurling abuse at the staff because they wouldn't let him out
to his car to drive away. They were trying to convince him to walk home
or get a taxi. He kept saying "I am a super intendant at the police
station and I'm going to have a word with you about this because
I'm not happy". Well, that's what he was trying to say, there
was a lot of hiccupping and buring in between. Eventually he dived out the
fire exit, got in his car with what I presumed to be his wife and sped
off. So the bar staff called the police and told them that one of their
officers was driving around drunk. I just wish I knew what happened next!

That's pretty much all I have to say today.
