completed in april 1996 by
quantum porcupine / grey
(jshagam_nmsu.edu) because
i decided that i really
wanted to redo the first
.s3m i ever did, and this
time i wanted to do it
right :)

greets go to:
  nemesis - sorry i didn't
    use any of the samples
    you spent so long on
    finding for me
  snaz and jason-roo -
    thanks for being so
    cool when i first got
    on FurryMUCK
  members of all the groups
i'm in - uh, hi guys
MiG / Weird Magic - thank
    you for always being
such a cool guy and a
    great composer; you
    wouldn't believe how
    much I meditate to
    "does it really matter"
  IRC residents, especially
    jak, skie, mistwolf,
    spiritwolf, starrhawke,
    spot, and timberwolf :)

sample credits:
  1, 2, 3 - unknown
  4, 5, 6, 9, 10 - walkman
  7 - edge
  8, 11, 12 - ramsey
  13 - me

for the pure purpose of
elongating the sample text,
i would like to tell you
the following:

listen at high bass. i mean
really high bass. bass with
mind-numbing proportions.
preferrably in the mid-100s
for the dB range. but don't
use Mod4Win's preamp 'coz
then you lose the treble.
so don't do that man, just
don't do it. also don't use
these lame-ass labtec LCS-
800s like what i have 'coz
those can't handle much
more than like 2dB in the
bass range. use a nice 900W
stereo system. while you're
at it, listen to it through
a PAS16 with all the bass-
boosting options turned on
and then project my cool
PAScilloscope onto a wall.
keep changing the display
method and other fun stuff
like that. if you don't
have a PAS16, then listen
to this while chatting on
IRC or FurryMUCK, possibly
with me and telling me how
utterly cool the way-too-
long ending is. you see,
i want to write music which
digs deep into the soul,
unearthing it from deep
underground. i can't do it
unless you give me advice
and so this is just a test,
and only a test. if this
had been a real touching
song, it would get a *****
rating in DemoNews. great,
no more room. bugger.
