This song is great musically. The best thing about this song is the piano, some parts sound -really- good, and the background instruments fit in very well. Nothing I could think about is wrong in this song. About 90% of the samples is 8-bit :( Too bad, I would love to hear a 16-bit version of this song. Also, the artist ripped the instruments from other songs... Anyway, since the music is so good, at least I don't care the samples are 8-bit (and it doesn't sound too noisy). The artist uses much effects, and he knows how to use them. However, I think he should use a little bit more stereo-separation in the song, and some more panning effects.

Musically this song is great! Really, one of the best songs I've heard. The melody are well done, and there's nothing I could think about that is wrong. The Accordion really sounds realistic, and so do the rest of the instruments. This is a masterwork! You won't even notice it's tracked. There's not many samples in the song, only 17. Most are 16-bit, and there's also some 8-bit samples... They are all great, and the artist really knows how to use them (You won't notice anything nasty, even the 8-bit samples sound great)... The only thing I could think about that was wrong is that the panning wasn't good enough. It could have been done a little bit better. However, since that is a minor problem, this song gets 10 anyway.

This is a very different song indeed! It gives me the feeling of curry. In fact it gives me the feeling of siting in a dry place in hot weather eating curry. The song is quite supurb! but it has quite a tricky bassline witch will sound distorted on some systems. But not mine!! Good song St3vor! Its a pitty about the bass being so bad, otherwise it would score higher. but the whole song is done quite well. keep up the good work.

First of all ... I want to say that I really made a fool of myself when reviwing this first time. Sorry st3vor for everything that got wrong! When I got a mail from Damien where he told me that reviewing my own songs wasn't allowed I understood what got wrong. I entered the wrong artist name. Review updated and are comming here... The song is very nice - the melody is good and it's very atmospheric. However, a little more variation could make this song better. It's repeating too much, and at the end it get a little bit boring to listen to. However, the song itself is very good, and nothing is wrong with it. The quality of the instruments 'n stuff are good. The instruments fit in, he uses the fade-off's right, and the echoes for the piano sounds right1. However, since not much are very advanced in the song however I can't give this song better tech rating.

This song is not worth downloading. The melody is repeating way to much, the melody sounds wrong, and nothing is good with the song at all. However, it was a nice try, but if this artist want to have a chance in the scene he must learn more about melodys and the fact that all-time repeating mods like this never work. More variation is needed for sure. Nothing is right here, the artist knows nothing about structuring a mod in FT2, he uses two channels wich is copies of each other for the strings and he uses no fade-off for any instrument. He even use 8 channels for the mod, but there is only one second in the mod when more than 6 channels are used, and that's when the same drum appears in all channels at the same time. Why not decreasing the mod to 6 channels instead?

A sad song, based on piano and violin and things like that... Some things in the melody really sounds good in this song, and the backround instruments fit well, the only problem is that this song like many other songs out there doesn't got enough variation in the background instruments or the melody, and this havn't got enough variation in both, so this song could get boring after a while. This was close just getting "good" instead of "very good" and it won't go into my personal playlist, but if you like the melodic / sad style this could be worth downloading. The instruments fit in the song, but things could still have been done better. The structure of the song is very simple, and not many effects is added to the song. Much could have done to make this song better, but because the filtering and stuff, the artist is not THAT bad... Some more practice and the Smurf could get better.

When I listening to this song the first time the atmosphere really caught me in some way. After a long time I got a modarchive reviewer and realized that this song not were reviewed... Still, this one is the best I ever have heard. The atmosphere is right, the melody is almost as perfect as a melody gets. There's enough variation, different instruments and stuff... but still, what makes this good so good is the atmosphere. For me, this is as good as a mod gets. A Great and a Yay! to Mystical for this masterpiece! Every instrument fits perfectly in the song, and all the instruments and drums, they sound good and right. There's nothing wrong ... Everything is perfect, the instruments that almost not are noticed, and the main instruments and everything between. Mystical really knows what he's doing, that's for sure!

It's hard to judge how good the artist is by listening to this song. It's based on two strings and a few other instruments. The way the artist uses the strings is good, and the melody itself is also good (even very good), but due to the very simple construction of the song and the reason that this could get better if more instruments was added, I can only give this song 6 points. This would work very well as background music for a role playing game or something like that, but I don't think it's THAT good as normal music, but I never said I didn't like the song. Well, the instruments is good, and the filtering works well. Nothing is wrong with any instrument, but also here due to the very simple construction of the song I can't say that this is better than good. I wish I could say more but there is not anything more that I can say about the song.

The song begins with some background instruments and strings, and it sounds good, anf it fits good as a beginning, but when the piano arrive it sounds even better. I would say that the piano melody is very good, but I think it could have some more variation. It's the same problem with the background instruments, they doesn't got enough variation, and that makes the song a bit boring if you listen to it much. If it had, this song could get some more points. One of this two things could have be done to make the song better. 1: Add some variation or/and 2: decrease the lenght of the song. The instruments fits very good in the song and all of them sounds very good. The background instruments fit in well. I would say, there's nothing that is wrong here, but a few things could have be done a bit better... The voice-chords and the strings could have some more fades, but that is only minor details.
