Trance Ocean is a nice, uplifting, but hardly groundbreaking or original trance piece. I absolutely love the slow building, progressive intro! Indeed musically there's not a lot wrong with what's present. Its a good track! The chords and melodies are well written & fit together well. However it's practically the same material playing throughout the songs duration, with the only variation in which channels are on and off. A few extra melodies or effects would have been nice, since in its current state "Trance Ocean" is a bit repetitive. Yeah, technically this aint too bad. The song sounds quite professional, and the sample quality is fine (only 8-bit quality though). However a disturbing click in a looped sample certainly spoils some of the enjoyment. I really wanted to give this .XM a higher score since much of the song is very cool, but with these complaints I can't :( Worth downloading though :)

TRiP To iNFiNiTy is a gradually changing minimalist dance track. It's made up of several different sections, & the quality of the transitions & song structure is excellent. There are some wicked techno sounds throughout, but I definately prefer the second half. What at first seems to be a pretty unimaginitve dance-floor friendly techno track, morphs into a more laid back trance groove. The well made conga drum beat, ambient string chords & cool bass line are great & fit together nicely! But my main complaint is the songs a bit too long & repetitive for someone with my attention span! Good use of effects throughout & generally this is all up to a high standard. But a significant number of the samples are quite fuzzy & average-poor quality :( However TRiP To iNFiNiTy is definately worth downloading, especially given its small size. A 16-bit radio edit of this would be great!!
