Apart from the basic sound and a tad too loud leads, the tune's very nice. But still it's just your basic melodic and happy demostylish piece of lead-wankery that offers nothing really new. That was a compliment, by the way. ;)

Another truly remarkable piece from the Unreal Soundtrack. Calm, relaxing and sounds damn good even after all these years.
I think most of the old "legends" are overrated, but Alexander Brandon is an exception - He is underrated. Thumbs up, waaay up.

Well, what can I say? One of the best songs from the Unreal soundtrack. If you haven't heard the whole soundtrack yet, get at least this piece right now.

The song starts with a simple electronic bassline and also, a simple drumbeat. Then, we distorted guitars pop in, which sound very artificial, but more of that in the technical section. After the guitars, a simple lead melody jumps in. The drums, baseline, guitars or the lead aren't variated at all, which, of course, is a bad thing. The song runs for a bit over two minutes, but it still manages to get boring in that time. As already said, the distorted guitars sound artificial, but they always do if you don't want to use huge sampled guitarpack, or just full pre-recorded riffs. All the other instruments sound good, but they're not used very well. The drums need variation, like some fills or changes to the beat and the lead should be spiced up with some slides, vibratos, etc. The artist has alot to learn, but this song proves that he/she has potential to be a good tracker. Just keep on tracking.

I'll start with saying this is a quite nice song from Future Generation. Melodically this is quite repetitive and unoriginal. Well, for me, this sounds exactly like every other dance song I've heard as I may not be so "educated" in this style of genres as other people. Now I can't see the reason why you couldn't use some strange funky chords in a dance song, as it would bring a bit of variation to this kind of songs, as all of these chord structures have been used too many times already. It just makes the listener bored. So, if you're looking something new, melodically I mean, this song doesn't fulfil your requirements. But if you're happy with dance as it is, with all these clichés, this song is definetly for you. The song is technically quite good, which raises the score quite a bit. Unlike melodically, this song gives you something new in the technical side, which is good. The volumes are well balanced and the samples fit to this genre well. They could be better tho, but they always can be better. One sample bothers me a bit more; the bassdrum sounds a bit silly and lacks bass greatly, which is not good. It gets hided very well as the song goes further, but in the intro you can hear it clearly. Ok, what do we have here, then? We have a dance song that offers nothing new in the melodical side, but in the technical side, the song is well done as it has many breaks, quite good samples and well balanced volumes. Recommened for all dance lovers, but for others, I don't think this is for you.

This song starts with beautyful harps which gives a very sad atmosphere. When I first heard this I knew right away that this is something different, something what really is good. As I said, this has a very sad atmosphere, not only 'cause of the harps, mostly 'cause of the flute and strings. This piece is something what I can't explain... Emotional, yet still so sad but beautyful. You can't put the music in words, atleast I can't. Not this song. I'm a bit disappointed to the lenght of this song, it's only about 1:20 long... I think this is an ohc tune and I think that this piece probably won the ohc. All I can tell you is that you must hear this song, no matter if you're a "trancer" or a "metalhead". Overall: This piece really should make you feel something. Emotional, depressive song. Short but sweet, but hey, if the shortness bothers just put repeat on and it doesn't feel so short. Good backgrounds and leads, I still can't believe that someone really could do this kind of work in an hour. You really have to hear this one. What comes to the technical part... I can't say much. As this is an ohc tune (probably), I can't say that the samples aren't as good as they might have been. Or I can say that and I said it already but that's not the artist's fault. Nice effects with lead and surprise, there are some crescendos and diminuendos (volume changes) in the leads and harps. They kinda makes this song alive, like it was played by a real orchestra.

This piece starts with nice synths and speeches. Gives a creepy mood to the start. Next thing is a slow breakbeat which just plays on the background, it makes you to wait until something happens. The breakbeat fades away and another beat starts and synths comes in. No solos or anything, definetly this piece would be much better if it had some leads or vocals. Nice synths and backgrounds keeps you still listening. The beat is the same all the time, that sounds boring at times. Then, yet again, comes some speech which brings the atmosphere of this song back. It kinda "wakes" you to listen the the end of the song which is lot better than the first half of the songm in my opinion that it is. Fade-out and there it is. Nice song but lacks leads and this feels a bit too repetive to me. But worth of downloading if you want some dark atmospheric trance. The speeches are very nice and the one taken from pulp fiction is just exellent. I see that the artist had to use some time for the pulp fiction speech, it has really nice noises on it (it had to sound like very old recording). the samples aren't exellent but not very bad either. Nice playing with pannings and effects, but couple parts of the song lacks couple effects from here and there... Or I would put couple effects to those parts if I had the power to modify a released song. =)

The song starts with nice acoustic guitars and they are the element what lasts for the whole song. Nice melodies, nothing to complain in them. The thing what annoys me in this song is that the melodies aren't "catchy". They all are almost the same, some variations with some notes tho, but the structure is simple. Not much to say, melodically this song lacks something what I respect in tracked music. Drums are a bit too repetive aswell, not much tho. The good thing in the drums is that they actually fits this song very well. Quite good overall sound, but as I said, this song is missing something important melodically. Let's start with samples: acoustic guitarsound is exellent, but they could be used better, like adding some offset to here and there, (sorry, I don't know if s3m supports offset) that would make this lot more enjoyable to me. It's good that disorted guitars aren't used but once in this song, the sound is too rough for constant use. Drumsamples are quite good, they fits to this song. Nothing to complain in channel usage nor in pannings. Actually those pannings are very good. Overall sound is good but not exellent to me. Worth of a download still.

This song starts with slow and atmospheric part. After two minutes it starts to speed up in a great way. Very fantasy like melodies comes in. After 3 minutes the song just speeds up a bit and then comes great pianos which keeps you listening. Then it slows down again smoothly. Some lead solo and piano tricks does wonders here. I can't get bored to this. Again, it speeds up and more of fantasy-like and atmospheric melodies comes in. after 7 minutes I haven't got bored to this. No need to say that this is exellent song and tracked very well. I can easily listen this several times in a row and I don't get bored, it has so much variation in it. Great chords, very atmospheric backgrounds, nice leeds and lots of variation makes this musically a 10/10. Great work here, keep it up. The technical part isn't so good 'cause of old samples. Some samples I.E. Choirs are stretched too much, they doesn't sound so good at some parts. And the same thing with those Brasses. Lots of effects used and they are in the right place at the right time. No complaining about them nor from pannings, but they aren't so perfect. In some parts those pannings sounds annoying with headphones. Like some background pianos jumps from right to left too fastly or like at 5:20 piano's pannings aren't so good. This song has everything what exellent song has to have but this is not perfect still. But I still can't give less than 9.5/10 to this song. And this song is a must download for fantasy likers and for everyone else aswell.

This song reminds of Metallica's older stuff and some blackmetal band mixed together. Good riffs with guitars, but I was disappointed when I heard that this tune doesn't have any kind of solo. And this is a bit too short, minute more and this would be 9. Drums are decent, they fill in the "blank" parts and gives a good atmosphere to this song. I've learned VERY much of metal in the last year and I know there is a LOT better tunes than this. But I know what MA's users are used to think as a "good" metal tune. This one is a very good tune to MA. Technical part of this song isn't great but this one has real recorded guitars as full riffs made totally by Mephisto himself. That is kinda rare to Modarchive so it lifts the score much. Not many effects used, but that guitar playing is Semi-pro stuff. Not bad at all.

Very nice, indeed. This song has nice leads and very good drums. Background basses has great melodies and the atmosphere is... funky. Lots of blues scales used and kinda drumsolo or something in the end (do I have to say that it's really good?) This song is based mostly on solos and ...eh... not much to say anymore. Only complain comes from those samples (as usual), which could be a little better. Great work! As I said, this song has great drumsolo at the end and lots of nice effects too. What could I say? Backgrounds are mayber a bit too repetive but there's so much solos that you don't realize it but after couple listening times it starts to bore you. But still, it's an 9 from me.

I've listened this song for 2 hours now and I don't get bored to it. This surely is one of the bests songs that I've heard. the Very good kinda Chinese melodies and good beats in the background. Starts with a balladique part what changes to really good DnB part. All leads are smooth and the melody changes often enough to keep you listening. Reminds me from the game Unreal. The only thing what I can complain is the sample quality, but you don't notice it if you don't really listen them. Effects are just there where they belong to. I can't say anything else because I can't complain from anything else but that sample quality. Very good work.

Gargoyle has done a really good work again (as usual). Not much to complain in this tune. very good melodies and couple solos keeps this tune interesting from start to end. I don't actually know, what genre this tune is. Mix between metal and Ballad or something. Good lyrics with great melodies keeps you really listening this tune. At the end of the tune is a ballad kind of part, it doesn't fit to the tune very well, but it's kinda relaxing. Not much to complain, but something still. I noticed that Gargoyle hasn't used much disorted guitars in his tunes before, solos aren't technically very good. And the samples aren't perfect, but these kind of samples are hard to find. Drums could be better, though. Those solos have couple annoying parts where guitars like stops when other sound starts. Some fast slides would do miracles to those solos. Great work from Gargoyle still. Happy birthday, Gargoyle!

Well, I can't say much of this tune. It has good melodies and it doesn't repeat itself too much. Jazzy atmosphere holds for the whole song and it doesn't get boring. Jazz is hard to make and I noticed that Aymes and Little elk has done a good job to keep the feeling for the whole song. Professional work. This tune would be better with better samples. There is lots of clicks and crackle in these samples and it drops the technical rating of this tune much. Nicely fitted parts lifts the rating, but I can't still give a better rating for this tune.
