This song in most parts just sounds like a lot of noise going on at the same time. The melodies don't mix. This song is mindnumbingly repetative and the whole song uses bad samples, but what makes it even worse is that the bad samples are used badly.

The biggest problem with this song is that the bulkof it is a string loop not composed by DJ Jam-S thus making the entire song, other than the innapropriate hard step beat, not by DJ Jam-S. The cuts are really ugly, a nice sample is used, but when it comes to the main beat it just leaves you think "what the hell..?"

This song had an interesting beggining, it starts with some poor sampled chords, providing the immpression that the piece is going to be orchestral based, but then a quick cut and the song blasts into a terrible distorted guitar loop,. Which wouldn't have been so bad had it not been so lousy and repetative. The song was crusing along a bit aqwardly for most of the piece, but upon the mid point the song took a very bad cut and the main melody was mysteriously replaced by a stringy guitar on the exact same chords, but out of synk with all other elements of the piece.tsk tsk tsk

This song while lacking melody and structure had quite a good hardcore beat. The claps were very effective for this style and I liked the intro loop/sample, yet other than that, this song is very dismal. The cuts are fairly dodgey and the song seems to drag on for ages, although nice execution of precusion.

This track was mindlessly repetative, it lacks definite structure. The precussion was awful, even for hard metal, and the overall sound of the song didn't even sound like music! This song needs some serious work, it sounds as if the artist really rushed this piece. I strongly suggest more work on variation and cuts for this style of music.

The bulk of this song consists of unfitting poorly constructed melodies, and if it wasn't for the exception that hardcore is meant to be rough and displeasing, this track would not have gotten past 0. However, the song does imprement a different mood in the centre of the piece which deserves some credit. There was not a great deal of a ttention to the technical side of this song, however the artist really should foccus on gettin melodies to gel and make a fluent song rather than experimenting with effects in my opinion.

This song is a remake of "da conjuror" made hardcore. The main problem with this song is the artist's gross misunderstanding of temo and tune. All of the melodies clash with each other and the song has little or no continuity even for hardcore. This is very poor music, not worth downloading the technical side of this song displays the artists "novice" status with many of the simple modulative rules breached, cuts are awful, melodies out of time, tune and synk, and the artist has used prescussion on the same keys as the melody, namely with the clap giving a really bad sound to the whole piece.

This song is quite good, it illustrates an immpresive pan flute melody as the intro and half way main melody, which further becomes a piano based theme, the only drawback of course. the structure, leaves the song sounding a little "less than professional", however the artist does demonstrate a perfectly adequate musicical knowledge... what brings this song down is basically the repetativeness of the melodies and the lacking stucture (namely some very aqward cuts towards the end which really kill what ever was happening), and the samples were a bit less than desirable.. still, one worth checking out!

This song is great! It has a very melodic main theme littered by sweet sampled chimes and enough variation, (for eg. the dance intro) to keep you interested throughout the entire duration, which is quite an accomplishment indeed! The song has some great samples, nifty cuts and everything you'd expect from a decent *.it file :) The only minor setback was that it only runs 2:27 leaving it a tiny bit short, otherwise it's a masterpiece!!

This is without doubt, The DEMON's finest work! It has an aicd sort of build up, (which sounds a bit lame) and then a sort-of old fasioned industrial sample fades in slowly and a few fills, then the main melody comes in. I liked some of the rifs, but the main theme didn't really fit the style of song (in my opinion). The techinical side of the song is fairly good. My only complaints were that the beat is mostly a loop, and there is a bit too much of a left pan on the panning envolope in the sample used for the main melody. Otherwise, it is considerably good :)

I liked the dark feel to this song. It has elemtents of orchestral, but an upbeat- drum beat to it, which made it quite enjoyable in certain aspects. The major downfall of this song is that it is way to repetative. I think it has enough variation to last about 1 minute yet drags on for 3:24 This song does have a dark, almost trance concept, but is brought down by poor variations, and being mind-nubbingly repetative. It does have some nice samples however, and their is a semi-industrial riff in the background whihc sounds cool, unfortuneatly illedgible due to the over-volume on the basic chords though.

The overall sound of this song is fairly average. For starters it is very short, at only 1:22, however had it been longer the painfull repetativness the way it is would begin to show more that the song has little of it's own construction but a schrewd cut and paste of a different song. Not to mention the fact that the artist took full credit for this by not mentioning the true source of the piano melody. This song starts nicely with some deep strings fading in and out and a well executed twitch speed between 10 and 19. But as the song progresses it becomes a bit boring, and once the typical piano from the oirginal strikes, the song is way below average. I think The Demon should make more of his own piano melodies, as his songs seem to be brought back below average by is use of well know (and terrible sounding) piano rifs.

When this ogn started I though that I would give it a 5 or something, but after the first few minutes the song dropped to about a 2 standard, if not less. I was disapointed that a song with such a strong and and potential intro dropped to such a terrible sounds tune. The first few minutes of this song is fine, although a bit high pitched. But then some really bad samples come in that sounds like a terrible quality record skratch. And then and out of note acid distorted part comes in, which wrecks the song totally. Although some parts of this song are good, sucha s the bongo beat and the bassline, but this song is mostly out of tune, and is fairly repetative.

This is one of the best christmas tunes i've heard, it is refreshingly different from other jinglebells remixes that I've heard. For starters it has quite a bit of variation from the main melody of jinngle bells and has a nice beat to match it (shame about the quality). This song is a bit short, but I think that if the artist had dragged this on anymore it would be too repetative, right now it is just right :) The only visible problems of this track is the crackling noise througout the main paterns and the lack of originality in a jingle bells mix.4

This is a firly ordinary christmas tune. It uses thew jingle bells melody as the main theme with a few variations that I don't think are on purpose but a poor copy of the original. But I was quite relived when a beat came into this song that seperated it a great deal from the original. The main problem with this song is the fact that it is painfully repetative and isn't very original. The beat doesn't really fit with the song, and the samples are of generally poor quality. This might be passable if you have a thing for christmas remixes, but I think it's lame and boring to hear songs like this.(my opinion)

This is exactly the same as the song above (JOE.MOD) except that half of the samples got corrupted in the zip file, and even on my third download I still got the corruption. This is alot like the original by rednex except for a bit of added bass drum. About 90 percent of the song is loops though so there is not much talent in a tracking perspective. Although it would require some time to get the loops to fit, which deserves a bit of recognition. The song sounds ok in some places, but it is very repetative and half way through the song without warning the songs jumps up a few notes and the temo picks up, which is a very bad variation. My advice to the artist is to try making music without the bulk of the song being loops.

This is an excellently made piece of music that is a real '70s sort of tune. However I couldn't help but notice that there is already atune VERY similar to this in the Jazz Jack Rabbit 2 Demo on level 2. tsk tsk, this would have been quite a suceptable remix if the artist had've actually metnioned that it was a remix! There are some quite considerable differnces in the lead guitar though, and the piano so this is still a fairly good song. There is some very well used lead guitar and a funky beat. The song at times seems like real flares and afro stuff but at other times it gets more modern and happier if yoiu will. For the style that this is, it is made very professionally with some great pitch slides. If this wasn't a remix it would be way out there !!

This song is fairly groovy (thus the title) but it is a bit short and repetative. The intro trumpet/jazz thing is quite funky and works well as an intro. Then a very well fitted and aranged beat comes in (perfect for this kind of tune). And then the main bars in the middle with some nice bass and pluck guitars. Although this has the making of a good tune it only runs for 1 minute 35 seconds, and most of this is the main theme being looped with an increasing speed change. The DEMON really needs to work on his/her obsession with using speed changes as variations. It is destroying a potentially good artist!

This is a remix of Riders on the storm by the doors. The only similarity to the original is a few speech samples used on a higher note. All the song is, is a beat that sounds really bad slowly progressing another hardly noticable instrument every 2 patterns. Now this is 1. WWWAAAYYY to repetative, and 2. Downright boring. The song needs something besides procusion, or at least procusion that sounded half decent. My advice for the artist is to totally scrap this song and start a new, there is nothing here that is even worth working on, I am sorry to be so blunt but that's the truth.

There are some fairly nicly used acid sounds in this piece of msuic. The strings mid way through the track let it down a fair bit though. The bit sounds a bit flat, but there is a nice woodblock highhat combination and some well aranged fills. The greater percentage of this song is quite well arranged, but it gets abit repetative after 8 minutes. Some very nice acid melodies are the back bone of this song. but there still seems to be something missing.. The pads are horrible!! They atart on the right key but every alternate chord is out of tune. This is the only downfall to the song besides it being unbearable repeatitve. If you like acid get it!!!

This is quite a nice dramatic piano strings piece, although there were too many let downs to make you go "WOW!" or anything. I think best part of the song is before the choir pads come in, at the start. The song seems to develop for the worst after the simple piano intro. The problem with the pads is not the sound, nor quality, but the transmision between chords. One of the chords starts at volume 0, and then 8 bars later it jumps straight to 3C.. not very smooth. The other let down was the arrangement of the track. The piano at first seems like a cool intro, but then develops further into the song where (in my opinion) a beat or something should have come in. But some songs are just piano and strings fine, but when this kind of music is composed, to make it work there must be a hell-of-a-lot of variations in order to keep it interesting. Which is not done. Infact I'd say if you took out haf of the paterns the song would still be overly repetative. Nice idea though.

This song is a bit short, some of the volume twitches on the synths is badly done and there is a boring speech sample used through out the whole song. Besides this, the melodies and beat of the this song kick ass! The intro consists of some nice strings, and then the rest of the song is a nice laid back dance style. There is alot of variations, and some great samples towards the second half. Like the dance blip for instance are great. The cuts, fade outs and fills are all done very well. My only other complaint is the sudden ending and the "Christmas" ring to the tune at the end, which is really out of it.

It has some good points and some bad points. The good points are that it is made quite professionally and everythign fits near peefectly. The melodies are mostly good, and the arrnagement is great! The leads, and high pitch samples do get a bit annyoing though, and it is a bit repetative towards the end (which comes too quickly I might add). Some nice string melodies lead into this song. Then a nicely reverbed bass quitar comes in, then some shaker, a drum beat and the song's off!! The beat doesn't really suit this song, but technically there isn't anything wrong with it. I like it, but this song sort of needs a more jazzy, ride cymbal beat. There are some good samples though!

This is a nice trance track, but with a fairly boring progression. The intro beggins with some nice deep strings then leads to a fairly ordinary bassline. But after that the song gets intresting! Some very nice high (but not too high) pitched chimes come in, which sound very good. The song also has a nicley fitting orchestral hit through-out most of the song. The progression was the minor let down, the melodies used with chip intruments and chimes really makes this song stand out against other songs of it's style. If the artist had made the original chord progression evenly slighty diferent this song would be of a very high standard.

This song is great! There are heaps of different melodies that come into the song spontaniously that all fit and sound pretty good. The feel of the song vaires at different sections, in places it sounds like dance, and others pop. A sort of happy song. The only let downs were the beat being a bit ordinary and the beggining melodies used on a very common chord progression. The ending was also a bit sudden, and came unexpectedly. However, overall this is quite a talented piece of music, worth downloading.

This is a remix I think, the artist has not listed their name, but has writen "original by echo" amongst the sample titles. Basicly, this is a lot of clashing melodies and loops in the same tune. There are a varitey of different riffs using samples like a dance piano and other goa/acid samples. Only two of the melodies in the whole song actually fit with each other and they are all played at the same time through a greater percentage of the song. The beat is almost entirly loops, and the only break in the loops are in the middle or when speech samples (that are fairly dodgey) come in. This song has a sort of rushed feel to it, but some of the melodies sound inappropriate for this style of music. Such as the club style pinao in the middle. In places this ong sounds quite good, but in others very lacking.

This track is slow and not very interesting. It does have some nice leads, and a well aranged beat though. But the centre of the song just loops over and over again. The beat is taken out atep by step through out the last phrases of the song, and in my opinion: way too slowly. There are some great sounding strings as the intro and through out most of the song, but the bass guitar doesn't fit most the notes. The new melody at the end is most perculiar, it uses the same leads but has a wierd bubbly distrotion effect that doesn't work at all with the song. All though creative, original and interesting, the repetativness and poor note placement drag this one down.

This is a fairly poor remix of the James Bond Theme song. The main theme that has been used in this song is the only similarity to the original besides a very badly used "Bond, James Bond" sample. Unless you have a thing for James Bond, or have an obsession with the original you will find this quite a bad song. The intro is a set of low quality strings with a pretty boring progression. Then a beat slowly comes in, sample by sample, very dragged out. Then the song leads to some strange loops that aren't arranaged properly. And then all of a sudden, the song cuts out, a speech sample and then the main theme comes in. The sample chosen was not very effective for the kind of song, it needs have more reverb and to be more of a bass guitar then a marimba/ice block. Then a few out of key string and bass melodies come in, which really don't fit, and then back to the strings from the start and the wierd loops. Not a very professional track.

The song is fairly good, besides the use of crash cymbols repeatedly through out the song on different pitches, the beat is really good! The saxaphone half way through is defintly the highlight of the tune, which is really brought alive by the use of sliding. The song begins with an awkward speed twitch which really doesn't work, but straitens out in the rest of the song. There is a great tom bit towards the end, they are arranged like bongos or timpanis which works surprisingly well! The only downfall of the song, is the overuse of crash cymbols, the beat being a little too obvious for this style of music, and the intro melody not really working with the song.

The effects and technical detail in this song are great. But the overall sound of the song doesn't really make it. For starters it is way too short! The only three melodies are a jazz guitar, bells and a typical jazz bass-line. The beat is quite good at the start, with a cross-stick and a ride cymbal, but it is shame that the beat didn't develop further with-in the song. The start is dragged out a fair bit with the bassline, which sounds a bit boring by itself. Then the jazz guitar comes in which makes the song sound like it's going some where. Quickly followed by the bells which are only repeated towards the end, but otherwise are on a constant variation. Which makes the song sound less repetative. Because otherwise, the song drags on over and over quite a lot in the middle. Now the artist was smart to cut the song off at 1:30, if they had not have done, this would be painfully repetative. But jazz music is generally supposed to last for 2:00 minimum, so that was a bit fo a let-down.

The bassline leads into a VERY funky beat (one of the best jazz beat you'll ever hear) and then this really nice jazzy piano makes an enter. To this point the song is in 10 teritory. But unfortuneately a canned sort-of guitar comes in. It sounds ok, but it ins't in the right note for the rest of the song. The degree of variation and use of different melodies is what makes this song so groovy! The beat never gets boring, and nor does the rest of the track. The combination of modern effects is done very well, and what would be expected to be a front-on clash of two different styles, is not the case!

Well this is a combination of typical piano/strings and a dance beat. Now this all works fine, but then the artist has incorporated acid. Now this may have worked had the artist had some idea of what they were doing with acid, and what key it should be in. Because they are obviously new at tracking, and the one thing you don't do, is make a full frontal clash with two radically different styles. The highlight of the tune was the piano and strings, now the strings are great! But the piano doesn't really fit the beat, but it is close enough to make a pretty average sounding piece. The piano and strings lead in, then the beat comes in, then the piano and strings fade out. The beat for a while (then the unspeakable acid). And then the piano and strings come back in for an ending right? No. The piano which is allready repetative enough as it is, is looped through twice with the only variation being an increase in the volume of the bass guitar. But this is still passable. Then the acid comes back in, in the exact same patern sequence as before, using the exact same paterns. Now the song is starting to slide into the below standard section. And then the piano and strings come in AGAIN!!!??? The artist has REALLY got to come up with some new melodies if he wants to be at least at a standard level of tracking.

The artist of "Jam with Uzeeb" has created a fairly average piece of music. It has elements of 70's Funk, but with modern leads etc. The technical details are quite immpressive, such as the use of: virbrato and pitch slide. The song has some great patern, and some not so great paterns, it is a pity that the artist chose to use the "not so great patern" as the main theme. The samples are quite high pitched 8 biters, and are annoying in places. The use of modulative devices in this song is what brings it up to standard funk music. The effects used on the lead are not unnecessary, they bring the lead to pace with the rest of the melody, and are done very well. The sample though... ehhkkk! The beat is quite imaginative, there are some parts where the beat is used to reloop back to the main theme (a bit too much) with snare drum fills, that are very good in consideration to the sample chosen for the snare.

Now this song, like many of The DEMON's work, it is completely destroyed by aquard speed changes, I can just see some one is a dance club somewhere dancing to this, then all of a sudden BAM! The bmp drops down about a 100. As you can see, this could get pretty ugly. For the last time: a speed change is not a variation! It seems this si the mistake made by many new trackers. Besides that, this song ius based around some famous song that I can't quite put my finger on... but this is a modernised version that deserves some credit for the author copying the notes into FT2.. immpressive. There wasn't really any attention to detail, their was so little in fact that the song rotated around the same 4 patterne through-out practically the entire song. Even at least a break in the piano in the middle would have gotten rid of the monotenousness of the song. Although all the samples were 8 bit, there weren't any really bad ones.

This is one of the demon's best tracks, the song consisting of solely piano and a few deep chords. It sounds quite nice, and is made quite professionally. The volume needs to be altered somewhat though for the clashing notes. And the artist needs to make a better skip between the intro speed change, I suggest a reverse crash or a wind effect or something like that. The artist has shown a lot of talent in the piano field, the only drawback to this sweet sounding piano tune is the repetativeness. I know these songs need to be repetativea bit, but this has gone a bit over board. Yet a nice thundering ending (thus the title), it's a pity this never came into the song anywhere else, possibly the start though.

This song doesn't make it. The intro begins with a very strange and annoying melody. I thought at first that the file had corrupted and that I would have to download it again, but then the beat came in and I realised: This is how the song is meant to sound! The song has all the basic elements of a techno song, however the poor use of samples and arangement drag this track down. The panflute and beat are the plus's for this song, the beat is fine for this kind of song, but not used with enough variation to keep it interesting. The switching between tones of the strings needs to be refined, as the reverb is wwwaaaayyyy to much. Another thing that doesn't work for this song is the constantly changing bassline which makes it both unusual and is not what you want in a techno song. In my opinion this doesn't even work as a piece of music.

The melody starts out with a nice dramatic effect, but the intoduction of a really out of key bassline destroys the whole effect that would have passed as just bearable. The drums are also way too loud, and repetative. Some volume variation would be nice. And the artist has got to stop using speech samples as variations. The main purpose of speech samples, especially like these ones is to lift the song, not be so dominant that the song rotates around them, as oppsed to vice versa as it shoud be. The start works quite badly, an uncomprehendable chicken sample leads us to a out of tune high hat, then to a very over powering beat. The beat for one, remians perfectly the same through out the bulk of the tune and really destroys the atmospheric begining. Shame.

This is quite a repetative song, the samples are used too much, the main theme is mostly just variated with different samples, which is a cheap way to stop a song being too repetative which it still is. At the middle of the song these high pitch samples come in, they were so high pitched in fact that I had to stop the song! If you like really deafening high pitch samples though... Also, the beat is the same throughout the whole song, and the samples chosen for the beat are less than ideal. The artist has done very little to enhance the song with their attention to technical detail, the immpression I got from the song when I first heard it was that the artist had rushed it and not thought too much about arrangement or bothered to look for quality samples. Which is exactly what the song is missing, attention to detail and variation.

In my personal opinon this would have gotten a 2. But this isn't about personal opinion is it? So basicly, this has some quality samples, some bad quality samples and some darn annoying high pitched samples that in places should have been taken to with a volume slide. Nicely made, very professional! As I said, this doesn't sound great to me, but it is made so well for it's style that it deserves a higher rating. There are some well executed effects incorporated, and the ending and start really caught my attention. The bells both on lead in and lead out are echoed perfectly! A very technically advanced song.

Parts of this are very well done, other are kind of annoying. The main theme, ie. the strings have quite a.. well an ugly chord progression that although fits with the song and everything is really boring and annoying. Some of the other instruments are better incorporated, but whould be 10 times better on a differnet progression. The artist obviously has a great deal of talent and has used this well in the song, but the backbone of the song is what really lets it down. I was sorry to give a song with so much potential a 5... The volume slides (a**) are used excedingly well, although a tad excessivly on the strings and lead. The lead halfway through the song gets a bit too, high. On a few notes the same effect would have been achived at a less "Squealing" level by turning the octave down a notch.
