Nice blues song. The samples are tracked very well. Only two guitar samples. Sounds like more. There are low quality samples, but that's to be expected. They sound ok. If you want catchy blues riffs at an easy-to-download size, try out this one! :) |

One word. Weird. Weird time signatures, weird note selection, just weird! It sounds funny and kid-y for a little while, but the pattern with 68 rows really disrupts the rhythm. There is also a lot of dissonance throughout. The bass and drums are good, as well as some synths. The part starting at 1:49 is less weird. :) |

A pretty nice techno song. Nice effects and melodies. The progression is pretty basic and the main melody goes from start to finish (a nice long change-up would be nice). I like the transition where the astronaut says, "That's one step." It gets boring toward the end, though. Maybe the song could be shortened a bit. |

This is what I would call a happy chiptune. It sounds like a theme-song to some TV show for kids. It has a nursery rhyme quality to it. It's tracked very well. Good use of effects, channels, you name it. Nice one. |

m0d's tracks just never get boring. Chip isn't my favorite style, but something about m0d's songs make me like them. I think it's the great drum-beat that sets the tone for the rest. Also, there is a ton of variation and neat little effect that you would never think of. The ending is a bit abrupt I think, but that doesn't take away for the track much at all. Nearly a 9. |

Oh, dear. Very simple chip song. Same bass melody throughout and simple layering on top. Too short, really boring, just don't get it! I got it from the random module picker. :P |

Cool. Metal with vocals by Friz and guitars from Axeslash! The drums are very complex and so are the guitars. There are little solos here and there, and they sound great! I wonder what the lyrics are about. I wish Ceekayed would make some more metal. Oh, well. 8.4 |

Cool funk tune. Good guitars. When the organ first starts to play, it sounds like it's making fun of you. You can almost hear it say, "na-na-na-na-na-na!" There's not enough bass because it's in the same channel as the drums. Hard to make when you only have 4 channels. Good tracking! |

Cool indusrial metal. The guitars are recorded, but there is a lot of tracking elsewhere. Drums, bass, techy sounds, and whatnot. Pretty catchy. Try it out! |

Simple hard rock. Guitar riffs sound like nursery rhyme material if you get my drift. The notes are like: E-E-E-E--E-G-F-E--E-E-E-E--E-D-F-E. The samples themselves aren't that bad. The drums and bass are pretty good, too. |

This is probably the best metal song from Tom D. so far. Lots of variety, catchy riffs, and great betrayer guitars from "The Jester Race." Get a good speaker system and blast away! Great for head-banging. Skillful tracking, fantastic song! 8-9 |

You can tell a Decibelter song a mile away. The style is so distinct. Funk with a lot of complex synth melodies. I like the part where the guitar comes in at 1:12. Sometimes the synth sounds a bit scratchy, but it's not very bad. Another great song! |

Wow. Great chip song. Awesome melodies. It has a blues feel to it. Great tracking for only three hours of work. I think the instruments are the same as Signal 094. Check that song out, too. It's from Ceekayed also. |

Nice song, but too boring. The guitar goes almost all the way through with the exception of a pretty boring part starting at 1:37 that goes for a long time. I like the part around the 4 minute mark when it turns nice and ambient. :) The drums aren't bad. |

Being this is an older song by Decibelter, I wasn't expecting a lot. But when I listened to it, it was great. Great synth melodies, good bass, and good drums. I would like to have the guitar a little louder, but it's not too bad. The ending is a little strange and the song is thin at some points, but overall, it's a great soft dance song. |

Nice fast-paced rock song. I like the the part at 0:37 where it slows down. The drums are very good. The piano part at 1:09 and the stuff shortly after is cool. The stuff near the end is well done. Good job. |

A fair ambient song here. Starts out with some nice strings then a harp comes in and that's about it. I was expecting some drums or something after the harp, but it just kept doing the harp. At 2:33, it doesn't get so bad you have to shut it off, but it really needs some variation. Good for going to sleep to I guess. |

A pretty good ambient song. It gets a bit boring and the drums are way too quiet but the soft melody at 2:28 really makes you want to listen more. Too bad there isn't much else to offer except electric guitar melodies near the end. I think the song is overpowered by the strings and is a little too long. |

Cool song! I like it when the the main melody and the drums come in. Speaking of the main melody and drums, they both are tracked to perfection! The fadeout at the end is a bit too fast I think. I like the length of the song. It doesn't get really boring. BTW, it's not hard rock. It's chippy. |

Nice hard rock/metal song by Hyochan. The beginning is cool when the guitars pop in after the initial melody. The guitars don't really change that much after that, though. The lead guitar is not bad. The drums are pretty repetitive, but they don't irritate you. Nice song and keep it up! |

Funk with a bit of reggae and techno. I like the synth melodies starting at 2:30 Some of the synths are a little too loud for my tastes. The bass, as usual, is good. The weird transition at 1:59 is kind of sudden and leaves you wondering where the last pattern went. Sometimes a wish there were some strings in the background to fill it up. Keep up the good work, Decibelter! |

Something about Dan Nyman's tracks make me rate them high. Take this song for example. The bass-line is nearly the same throughout, but something makes the song pop out as great. I think it's how all the instruments fit together. It doesn't hurt that I like the style. The piano sets the tone for the bass, drums, strings, and flute. The background strings make everything go with it. The drums could be a little better, but not much. The snare doesn't have as much reverb as I would like. This song is definitely worth the download. |

Nifty synth-pop song by Elwood. The lead sounds great. The melodies are stuck in my head! Some of the melodies bear a remarkable resemblance to one of BeaT's songs. BeaT did the copying, though, because his songs came later than this. The drums and beat are very nice. The transitions are great! Very cool. There are a few thin parts, so hence the 9 instead of 10. |

Nice song, unoriginal title. XMplay messes up the violin because it was tracked in a weird way. ModPlug Tracker works fine I think. Guess what's in the song? Piano and violin! The violin samples are really nice. Where did he get those? The piano sounds pretty real. Overall, a nice classical piece of music. |

This is a really nice folk song. Too bad the toms aren't very tracked. The accordion is tracked to perfection. It's really hard to track samples like that. My only complaint is that it gets a little boring. It's mainly accordion and strings. Nice one, nonetheless. |

This one starts with a flute melody (with no echo, sadly), and then some distorted guitars come in. Shortly after, the song erupts into pile of metal music. After that, there is what sounds like a marching band with chants and everything. Once that passes, it goes back into the metal. There isn't much variation after that. The guitars don't sound very real and they are used in an unorthodox way. Overall, an ok song. |

A cool techno/chip song by Neon Zip. It sounds thin in some places. Perhaps some strings would fill it up. The drums are a bit simple. I like the cool transition at 1:10 and the lead that follows shortly after. The lead cuts off at some weird places, but overall it's nice. I also like the melody starting at 2:04. The transition at 2:50 is a little abrupt and unexpected I think. The stuff leading to the end is cool. |

You first open it up and say, "this is a mediocre ambient song." After the 4 minutes and 5 seconds are over, you sit there shaking your head. The melody is the same all the way through, the drums consist of a kick and a ride cymbal with no variation, and the ending is a dissonant disaster. Avoid this song (unless you want to cry). |

This is a nice rock song by Zodiak (not trance). It starts out with birds, waves, and guitar. After a little while, it goes into a heavy part. I like the effect where the waves meld into the bass. The lead guitar is really good. There are some bluesy riffs. I like the transitions from heavy to soft. My only complaint is with sample quality. There is a lot of static, especially in the heavy parts. It was made in 1994, so that's to be expected. Nice piece. |

This is one of the first songs I ever downloaded. It's one of those retro amiga-type mods. Nice melodies. The drums are good for a four channel mod. I think it gets a bit boring at the end. The sample text doesn't show up in ModPlug Tracker, but when I use XMplay, it's there! It's made by Hangover using Betrayer's guitars in 1999. It's a nice metal tune, but I think it's a little too long. The lead guitar doesn't sound very good with the rest of the stuff. It sounds like a keyboard. The rhythm guitar is good, though. It sounds pretty realistic. The drums are also nice. |

Good rock song. The lead guitar sounds very nice with the other instruments. The drums are very nice. All the instruments fit seamlessly into one another. The distorted guitar may be an exception, but if you listen hard enough, it doesn't sound that bad. I sure hope Dan Nyman gets back into tracking if he can find a tracker that runs on Windows (Renoise or Milky Tracker perhaps?), because his tunes are up there with the best. 7+ |
