This is weirdness. It's not musical at all, and the drums are a bit out of beat. Weird samples of people, guitars, and whatnot. There are much better mods than this.

The samples aren't the best, but the artist certainly knows how to track. There are some fairly cool parts. BTW, the piano is the replacement for the vocals, not the lead guitar. :)

The beginning sample is poorly looped, but the clean guitar part after is really nice. Too bad the distorted rhythm guitar stinks. And the acoustic guitar. The lead guitar is pretty good, however. The drums are ok except for the tom. It's weird.

Woohee! Sweet Metallica cover! This is the best Enter Sandman cover on the archive that I know of. Great work with the guitar solo, especially the whammy bar! My only complaint is with the "lyric" sample. It's too quiet. It's hard to hear at some points. Also, a synth might work better for the vocal part of things. Other than that, it's a great song that's definitely recommended.

Really nice ambient song here! The guitars are great. I think the electric guitars (except sample 28) were ripped from scorpik, though. There is a duplicate of this song on the archive, called UNDERSEA.XM, which is the original release I think. Anyways, it's a really nice song!

I like the way this is put together and the speech is used very nicely. I really fits in. The size is a big drawback, because it took a long time to download on my s-l-o-w connection. The speech took up most of it. It should have been turned into 8-bit and downsampled. I did that and the size was reduced by more than half. Oh, well. Nice song!

Now this is a nice synthpop tune. The lead melodies are nice and the piano is a nice touch. I can hear pretty pronounced looping in the lead, though. That's too bad. The drums do the same thing throughout the song, but the beat is so interesting it doesn't hurt the song too much. I would prefer a conventional ending, but the loop is pretty natural and well done. Nice tracking!

Why is this song so highly ranked? Yes, it's nice, but there's nothing that really sets it apart from other good songs. The soft parts are really nice, and so are the drum smaples, but it lacks variation in the beat department. The bass plays the same rhythm and so do the drums. The soft parts are the only thing that break it up. And I must say, they do a good job. Overall, a very good song let down by a lack of variation.

Nice metal song! The drums are really nice! This is sort of mellow compared to most metal, but that's a good thing! I like the soft parts with the lead guitar. There are also some pretty heavy parts. Great song. Get it. Now.

I like the the lead on this one melodies a lot. The snare seems to go a bit out of beat when it's hit rapidly, though. Interestingly enough, the tune has a bit of a reggae touch to it. Nice!

I like this rock-ish tune. I like the bass at the beginning and some of the lead melodies. The organ in the background gets a bit annoying, though. It goes on for long stretches and is pretty loud. Overall, nice.

I like this metal ballad. The guitars sound pretty realistic, especially the distorted guitars. I'm not sure I like the kick drum, though. It's flat and weird. The song is also a bit repetitive. Other than that, it's nice.

I never would have expected the filesize to bee this low for this song. I thought is was somewhere around 200 kb when I first heard it, but only 20 kb? Wow! The song is a bit short and boring, so no 10, but nice song.

An interestingly weird metal/techno/symphonic song. There is some pretty basic tracking techniques used here, though. Synths playing the same notes as the guitar, basic chord progressions, and jumbled samples. IMHO, it's a bit messy and simple for me. The drums are pretty good, though.

A pretty nice tune. There are some cool effects, like at 1:20, but the effect is built in to the sample, so no real tracking done there. Also the bell-ish lead goes out of range and gets quite tinny on the high notes. Overall, it's a bit boring, but certainly not bad.

Nice chip tune. I like the ambiance of parts of it, but some parts sound a bit thin. I think there should be a bit more bass. The drums don't sound very chippy, but they add some interest to the tune. Good work!

Great ambient piece here. Starts out with running water and birds, then some drums, and then some great mysterious strings come in. The song goes through different leads, which adds to the terrific atmosphere. Some of the leads get a bit too loud, but everything is put together very nicely. I love instrument 37. Cool! The filesize is a bit big (a bit more compression may be needed), but it's really high quality.

This is a pretty normal (but nice) trance/dance/whatever-it-is song. The big booming bass drums starts it off and then some background stuff takes over for a while. The song has a lot of channels and is tracked nicely. A lot of skill went into this song. The lead melodies are not extremely original, but they're nice. I'm not sure I like the wind chimes, though. Also, I don't particularly like the loop. Overall, nice ambiance, cool melodies, but not my favorite style of music.

Great ambient rock song! The leads are great and the samples are really high quality. The drums and bass are great and the atmosphere is really nice. The lead guitar doesn't really sound like a guitar (I thought it was a synth when I first heard it), but it sounds great! You just can't argue with that!

Cool ambient/jungle music. I like the drums a lot. The voices fit with the song. My only complaint is that it gets quite boring as you get towards the end. From about 2:00 to 2:45, it's nearly the same. The soft part at the end is pretty good.
