This one must have taken a while. This is a moody piece that develops very nicely and shows taste in choice of samples. As expected from Ceekayed, the drums are great -- not in the sense of creating a great beat, but very musical. The percussion adds to and enhances the music, rather than being the main attraction, so to speak. There are many subtle things going on here. Very solid.

I liked this -- sort of atmospheric, with a laid back beat. Nice use of harmony. Probably would have given it another point higher if the ending had come together better. Cool little track, though.

There's a lot going on here. I enjoyed it primarily because of the diverse nature of the sounds -- I seemed to hear a lot of subtle things. The tune is a little directionless, but very pleasant to listen to. Nice work.

Sort of a module version of a guitar hero type track. (At least that it was I thought of when I heard it.) In some parts a little flat, but I liked the guitar parts playing in thirds, and it was quite enjoyable.

I realize this is a short compo track, but I liked it just the same. In particular, Ceekayed, in all of his tracks, has a great talent for getting the most out of drum tracks.

This is the first 10 rating I've handed out -- after listening several times, I realized it was pretty much a near perfect example of what tracking is all about. Catchy melody, tasteful use of effects, good song structure. (Fortunately, m0d does not fall into the trap of needlessly extending songs past their material.) Solid stuff that clearly shows off a good grounding in music theory.

I liked this one a lot -- good use of the full possibilities of the instrument settings in Impulse Tracker. Good samples, and the song develops well. The chord progression is the same all the way through the song, which would normally drive me nuts -- however, in this case, the progression is strange enough to maintain a sense of motion.

A great example of chip tune technique. Nice slides, use of effects, etc. Also a catchy little tune, with a brief, but different middle section. If you like the chip sound, this is a good one.

Very, very nice ambient style piece. Listen to it when you have time to let it develop. There's some very nice stuff about 2/3 of the way through. My rating for this piece went up as I contined to listen. The music has some things that are worth waiting for. On the other hand, my criticism would be that there is too much repetition prior to the changes. A little self-restraint in the first half of the piece would have made it much better, I think.

Anyway, nice work.

Sort of chip-punk, so to speak. Good fun, but a little weird. Reminds me of Devo for some reason.

I liked this one a lot. Great intro, nice sounds. The only down side for me was the fairly standard trancey drum track. Nice structure for the song, though. Good work.

Fun, fun, fun. I would have liked more of the sax samples, but overall this was solid. Thanks. Nice triplets at the end.

I finally downloaded the ahx and zip plugins from the XM-Play website. I then downloaded all of m0d's ahx files and listened to them straight through. It made for a great listening experience. (I chose pierced ears to comment on specifically because it was one of my favorites.)

This is "chip" music at its best. First, the tunes themselves are well put together and fun to listen to from a compositional standpoint, with a good variety of styles. The available soundset and effects, though limited, were used very well. I would strongly recommend these, and would recommend listening to them all as a sort of mini-concert (or album).

These are keepers for me. Nice work.

Very cool -- impressive work with the samples! This must have taken a while.

I liked the water sounds in the background as well.

Nice work. As you say, sort of in that somewhat standard synth genre, but I always liked this kind of sound, and this one is well done.

Thanks.
