This is actually a remake of a commercial song, but as such is quite good. Some good sampling went into it and it recreates the original surprisingly well (for a four channel mod that is).

This is a classic rock song with really catchy melodies. You've got everything there - clean guitar rhythm, chorused guitar riff, distorted guitar solo, hammond organ, bigbeat drums and even a yamaha piano solo. What makes this module stand out from the heaps of other rock modules is the sound quality. Instead of taking a sample of single notes these two artist recorded whole passages of real guitar playing. The result: what you hear sounds almost like a professional recording. The song opens with a nice chorused guitar picking (a real Stratocaster as far as I can say) with another guitar joining with some clean sound solo. Then the drums and organ start the backbeat and we hear the classic bigbeat rhythm. We get clean guitar solo, jazzy piano solo and then the distorted guitar takes us to the climax of the song where everything stops and ends gently with short version of the opening guitar riff. Artist even let their creativeness loose when mixing together prerecorded guitar pieces as they used note delays and sample offsets to recompose some of the originally recorded melodies. As I mentioned above, the sound quality of this module is exceptional because of live recording. But it also lets the song down in some places - some samples (most notably ride cymbal) are cut-off at the end and miss the sustain which is very annoying. Also the samples are all 8-bit. Aside from these technical imperfections this tune is truly a masterpiece standing very high above the sea of average modules with it's composition, playing, musical and technical quality and atmosphere and is worth listening every second.
