A very fun, upbeat tune. "Shiny" is the word that comes to mind. Has sort of a Mannheim Steamroller sound to it. I wish there were more from this composer.

Keyboards and synthesizers dominate the sound. It's built on a short mode of 11 notes that repeat throughout the piece without feeling repetitive.

What I particularly enjoy are the two episodes where it jumps into a minor key with a powerful and explosive beat, especially the energetic transition back into major.

Warning: Once the tune gets stuck in your head, it's really hard to get it out.

Absolutely brilliant. Catchy melody, quality samples, fun to listen to. It's a medieval fantasy song built on an almost flamenco beat, with some modern touches to give it energy and power. It's divided into 2 parts with similar but not identical melodies, but the differences are subtle rather than jarring.

It scores a 10 because the composer wasn't content to just make a good song; he added a few touches that I would never have even thought of. For example, to make it sound more realistic and authentic, he actually added fret noises to the guitar! Pure genius. Little touches like that are what make this stand out above the rest.

Beautiful melody, evokes imagery of an ancient, perhaps even prehistoric age, but with a slightly futuristic flavor due to the synthesizers in the background. A strange combination that works beautifully in this cse. The lead is a wood flute with a haunting, almost Oriental sound to it that works well for the sustained notes of the melody. Do yourself a favor and lie back in a comfy chair when you listen to it. It's so serene and relaxing that you'll find yourself sighing in no time.

My only complaint is that I like the first part of the song more than the second, so I would deduct half a point for changing in the middle if I could. I'm rounding up because scoring it as a 9 would be an injustice to it.
