Because of its overused double bass drumming, I'm guessing that this song was inspired by an M240 machine gun. budududududa... budududududua... budududua... budududududua......

The MG team sometimes stops to reload but then they're right back in the fight, firing rounds downrange. budududududa.... budududududua.. budududua... At least they fire in bursts at sustained rate instead of firing at cyclic rate.

Although this song needs doses of logic and balance, it's at least interesting. Points for the tempo changes and varied rhythms and melodies.

This sounds like electronic dance music one moment and then a DOOM or Descent song the next moment. This is because the drum samples were taken from the electronic dance aisle of the store, but so was most of the rhythm.

Ah, that explains the title: "The unholy quest" to combine the genres of electronic and metal.

At least it's creative and avoids too much repetition.

This song sounds like it started as a drum solo, and simple guitar noodling was added afterward. I can't place the genre either -- maybe chiptune country rock jam session.

This is a very melodic instrumental black metal song. It uses layering and melody/countermelody. If you like virtuosic melody in minor chords then download this song.

If you like drums then this song isn't for you. It has a rather uninspired rhythm section that is basically just a placeholder. I counted five drum fills and four of them were identical and generic. The drums are above average for this site, but they aren't at a Dimmu Borgir level of skill. Not that I could do any better at composing drums, of course...

Anyway, the melodies are catchy. I listened to the song 20 times (the web-based player auto-looped it while I wrote this review :)
