flashback-options1 - flashback-options1.mod

Review Score: 8/10

Overall Impression (8/10)

Options1, made by Raphael Guesqua This track was used for the game "Flashback", originally released on the Amiga in 1992. It apparently was used for the Options menu, which seemed a bit of a waste really, as I find it to be a good track and it didn't get good exposure. The tune is very melancholic. It almost makes you feel like you won a war, but at a very high price. I've never finished the game, but if I had the chance to choose where it would be used, I would've chosen to use this for the credits.

px.bladswede remix! - projectx.mod

Review Score: 8/10

Overall Impression (9/10)

This is the Bladswede Remix version. Between this version and the original, I'd go for the remix. This MOD was the main theme for an old skool game called Project X, a game originally released on the Amiga and later released on PC. A good MOD if you appreciate instrumental/soundtrack music.

Project X 2 - projecx2.xm

Review Score: 9/10

Overall Impression (9/10)

One word - catchy. This is one of those dooph-dooph tracks that one could listen to repeatedly and it probably won't lose its ear-candy value in a hurry. Everytime I hear this track, I always think it would be appropriate for a game or a movie - maybe a fight scene.

Or if you're bold, as a cellphone ringtone. Whatever the use, I like this track and it definitely has two thumbs up from me. And a grin.
