Profile
Hi there, I'm K. Jose, aka KJ (not kill joy).
I started tracking music in July 2014, but most of my pre-September tracks are ready for deletion from my HDD.
Since the start I had always been using OpenMPT.
I'm also on Google+ and Twitter.
You can also follow my personal Facebook profile (that's possible).
Most of my samples were acquired from:
*Saga Musix's sample collection at sagamusix.de
*Windows's GM.DLS General Midi Soundbank
*The following websites:
-sampleswap.org (login required to download from there)
-soundpacks.com
-freewavesamples.com
My chip samples were obtained from:
*Magical 8-bit Plug VST plugin, rendered to Wave format with OpenMPT
and previously,
*Saga Musix's sample collection at sagamusix.de
*my own samples which I drawn with OpenMPT's Sample Editor
My strings sample was acquired from Skaven's contribution to the Second Reality soundtrack, retuned to C (from B-flat), crossfaded (since the sample ticks on the ends of its loop), and more recently, converted to 16-bit (from 8-bit) and resampled to 44100hz, and even more recently, 48000hz. The originating sample is also used in another module in the archive from an artist other than me and Skaven. Search HiStrings.HiQual(Marcato) on Bing or your favorite search engine for details. Skaven said on his website (www.futurecrew.com/skaven/index2.html) that other musicians are free to use his samples.
Starting from 2018, I will apply the Creative Commons Zero (public domain) license to my modules. No rights reserved.
For earlier tracks, refer to the associated license. Some rights may be reserved.
