Fabio Barzagli (born 1974, Firenze) is an italian musician, multimedia artist, philosopher and philanthropist, manager and cultural promoter.
At 6 He began studies as classical guitar player (with the maestro Carlo Mascilli Migliorini), his favourite authors were Segovia, Fernando Sor and Paco de Lucía.
At 13 He started composing music on a Commodore Amiga 500 with Aegis Sonix, Oktalyzer, and Soundtracker.
He attended the He attended the I.T.C. Alessandro Volta studying mathematic anc computer science as main disciplines. He also got the Music Garden school certificate with the maestro Luigi Gagliardi.
Since 90s Fabio Barzagli has been an appreciated musician seeking in "computer music", branch of the electronic music, field that has been developing since the end of the '80s and having its own diffusion in the middle of the '90s mainly through international competitions named demoparty.
These competitions are taking place, nowadays, in the most important European and Extra-European capitals, where Mr. Barzagli is well-known and appreciated with the name of Fby.
He has been awarded in France, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Holland, Sweden, Turkey amd Russia. He published world wide distributed musical CDs and composed music for videogames like Trauma Zero, Euro League Manager, Tony Tough, The Nutecracker, Estreme Trial Motocross, Legend of Rome, Babylon, Alf Jonathan, Atom Killer, Malleus Maleficarum, Starshocks, ecc..
He has been member of the following demoscene groups: SoftOne, Darkage, Spyral, X-Zone, Phase Distortion.
He has been composing over 200 pieces from classical to electronic, rock, ambient, ethnic and techno music. He decided to donate all his music collection for public use: Fby music is free music.
In 1997 He’s been founding Nayma Software a company producing interactive applications like Tony Tough (the most world famous Italian videogame) and other creative projects.
In 2008 He has founded www.Paternita.info the first italian and international site for the promotion and protection of fatherhood and childhood. He has been proposed and candidate as Deputy in the Italian Parliament.
