Hey, I only started tracking a couple of months ago. I know this is unheard of but I really like it. I first got into tracking through the game Deus Ex. I was browsing through the game's data directory and noticed a music folder there. They were in some weird format like *.umx or something. Anyhow, I searched the net for ways to extract or convert these songs into a format that I could listen to them in. After extensive googling, I was directed to a program called ModPlug Tracker. I downloaded this program and opened up the *.umx files. They opened up perfectly and were able to be played - after a while I came to know that they were in *.IT format, so I just saved them as ITs.

I have a great big background in music, but this new thing called "tracking" caught my eye and I started learning from that day on.
