Overall Impression (7/10)

If you read through the following sections you will probably pick up on the feeling I was left a little underwhelmed by this module. Although it's not bad, Pip has set a high bar with previous modules already and this one seems somewhat poor in comparison. On it's own it's fine if you don't mind the lack of melodic development, as chugging chords doesn't really do it for me.

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (6/10)

Good samples, but very easy to tell it's tracked. That's one of the things when using quality samples - you can spot more easily when they aren't being played naturally. The drum work is fair, your typical rock beat with a little development here and there but overall the drumming is a bit on the bland side. The bass line is pretty good with some nice phrases and bridges interconnecting the different sections, nothing too complicated to write home about though :)

Development (5/10)

Overall I thought the lack of a melody lead right up until the very end was very disappointing. The melodic chords didn't fill the gap in my opinion probably because they were quite soft and not that punchy. The ideal improvement would be to have steered away from the use of the chords to drive the melodic side of things and instead layer in some acoustic leads, or possibly electric if you're confident you can steer them along with the classic rock theme.

Creativity (4/10)

This sounds a little rushed, it feels as if there is hardly any development or progression and you're left wondering whether this was a properly finished piece. Well, I guess it is, but it still leaves that feeling. As I mentioned before, the drumming is bland but probably the most notable feature of this module, although constructed of fairly basic patterns it fits the classic rock style well. Overall, I believe this could have been so much better with proper melodic development, as I keep saying.

Enjoyment (5/10)

I'm afraid this one doesn't score so well on replay-ability since the majority of the tune has nothing to latch on to. The lack of a prominent melody leaves your mind to wonder to other things rather than the music. It's repetitiveness is more obvious because of this, even though it's not - it just appears that way. Shame.

Overall Impression (6/10)

Well, the artist on this song, tried to present some type of classic rock but i think it didn't reach quite there, mainly because the guitars don't sound that much of a guitar, lacks some strength on the chords, the lead guitar is good, sounds good too, but only shows up once, some more development should have been done in there. Also the artist tried to make the melody of the power chords, giving them the central attention, when i think the lead guitar was supposed to do that. The drums are ok. Some other instruments are needed, maybe voices or something to fill up the sound. But there's effort on the melody so everything is not lost.

It's ok on pretty much every aspect, what was done, was well done, only in case of the samples, some more "violence" or strength is needed to really kick that feeling of rush in a rock song, even if it's classic rock.

Development (7/10)

There's melodic development and the artist tries to give some variation, exploring the various spectrum's of a rock song. It also ends good, but the duration is short, some more lead guitar space is needed.

Creativity (7/10)

There's plenty of creativity, but it seems limited because of the guitar samples, they sound flat or not real enough, but even with those the artist builds and succeeds in the melody, exploring it quite good.

Enjoyment (5/10)

There's not much, because the instruments sound quite alone, a sense of fullness is needed and a more real sound is expected. But in terms of composition is quite good so it would be interesting to find more of this artist work.
