It's funny how things come about, sometimes.
This song is a remix of an unused song from Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, which remixed "Brave of Puyo Puyo" from… well… Puyo Puyo, which was a remix of the aforementioned song.
This thing has come a long way just to be chopped up and used as a game select theme, let me tell you.
And yes, I used the European name of the game, Sonic Compilation, for some reason. I don't think I was aware it even had a US release, at the time.
