Nice sounding samples - good jazz fusion sound. A little too much like chick corea in his experimental days for me, but well executed.

Are the chairs flipping, or are you flipping the chairs? Whatever Decibelter was doing, he was making a superb funk song. Nice changes from different themes. The bass sounds great. Nice synths, and great tracking. It sounds a bit thin and tinny sometimes. Just a tiny bit. ;) I recommend it...

Oh baby! This new artist Decibelter rocks in the Jazz-scene. This opening track "flipping chairs" is definetely the best jazz-mod that I've heard. In my opinion jazz is pretty hard to track, but listen to this song and learn how to do it professionally. This song launches itself right from the beginning into intensive world of jazz. It is quite creepy really that the artist has managed to compose so filled and real track. I mean whole the time bassline changes, synths play complex leads, guitars fill the song and excellent drums give a real nice feeling into this song. This is also one of those tracks that where you find yourself playing airguitar or your hands fling in the air when you think your smashing drums. You just close your eyes and start jamming.=) It is also nice that this song ain't that long (2.52). For jazzlovers that might not be so good thing, but for those who don't listen that much of this kind of music, it is good. It works perfectly as a musical snack for everyone. It won't start to bore you one might actually get some kicks out of this and start checking more of this guys production. Hell, I will.=) Imagine : Nice amount of 16-bit "real"-samples (guitars, drums, bass), excellent use of effects and professional touch to this kind of music. Oh yes, this is exactly that. Despite the song lenght, theres so much variation in this song that...that...I'mĀ“out of words. In some points this sounds really like POWERjazz and then again there are times that the song takes it easy. I can't complain anything about this song. It is just so pro in everyway, that if I'd get chills from this, I'd give it a 10.=)
