I personally enjoyed this mod a tonne. It's my type of music. It was fairly well constructed, and sure works to sooth you or you could imagine you're deep in the most beautiful forest. Trust me, immersion factor helps me to enjoy this and give it a high rating.

This is an interesting piece, which sounds as though it was made a long time ago (hence the "Retro" in the classification)! I picked this tune to review for this artist because of his suggestion on his artist page, that it was the best of his works so far. The samples used are undoubtedly the cause of the retro sound; they all sound 8-bit (which isn't bad). Anyway, parts of this song remind me of the old Popcorn song which came out a long time ago. The atmosphere the artist creates is cool, very "crystal" sounding. The sections of the piece fit together well, and everything seems to work pretty good for the track. Some of the samples, though, are a bit too loud in comparison with everything else that is going on; but, otherwise, this is a decent piece. Technically, the tracking is pretty bland. Not a single effect or volume setting was used throughout the entire piece. The one sample with a loop point has been picked pretty good, but might use a little more work, as there is still a small "bump" in the sound. The artist could really have balanced the piece with attention to volume, and some panning would really have created a cool atmosphere. Overall, this is a fairly straightforward track which sounds pretty good, but could have really used some more sophisticated tracking.
