Title:  Recombine
Author: Peter Kasting (Zero|DPX)
        pkasting_ghs.com

This is one of my best songs, for some reason, despite the fact that it
was written very quickly and never meant to be an Impulse Tracker-only
song (I was writing something for some friends who intended to play the
song live, and this was my "beta").  This is probably the closest I've
come to "catchy pop".  Now if only it had a real melody line instead of
just chords (I was intending for one of the aforementioned friends to
write a vocal line over the top).

After finishing it off I went back and added the Hammond line for some
added interest, but I didn't like the distraction when I was done, so
(prideful person that I am) I just turned the volume on it down low
instead of removing it altogether.  Most casual listeners won't notic eit
anyway.

I REALLY like the echoey bells in the middle.  If you listen to much of my
work you'll discover I have bells in almost every song.  I don't know why,
I just think they're really cool!  They make a great bridge here.

The one downside to this song is the lack of a real conclusive ending.  It
was sort of tied off rather than finished; since my songs are almost
always written as I go instead of planned out, I rarely can think of how I
want to end things :(

I'm not sure what the title means, but it's better than "Shack Band
Songz0r 01" (the original working title).
