Overall Impression (7/10)

This is a nice laid back, ambient chip song. The melodies are quite interesting.

A small gripe: Some parts sound really happy, some sound sad. I just can't figure out what mood I'm supposed to be in! This song is supposed to be about dinosaurs? I was waiting for them to attack, but they never did! It stayed mellow all the way through! :)

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (7/10)

This does sound like a quickie (not that it's bad, just the way it's laid out). It sounds a bit like a OHC song.

The tune is really full for 4 channels. The melodic samples are really nice. The volume of the samples is nice balanced with the exception of the open hi-hat. It's too loud and pretty irritating. I think if the closed hi-hat was used the whole song it would be a bit better.

Development (8/10)

This tune starts off with a bit of lullaby melody, then a cool bass type sample comes in. Later, at 0:30, the main part of the song comes with those hi-hats I was whining about. :) At around 0:40, a sort of sad melody starts to play. There isn't much variation after that, except for the end, which goes back to the lullaby and is quite neat.

Overall, nice song, but a little more variation might have done the trick. Good for being made in only one evening, though!

Creativity (9/10)

Once again, m0d owns this style. Full, upbeat (most of the time :-), tunes that take up a smidgen of space. Probably the best music for the size that I know of.

Enjoyment (7/10)

This is good if you want to take a nap, but if you want action, you might want to pass. Still, it wouldn't hurt to listen a few times now and then.

I sure want to hear more of these kinds of songs from m0d. Keep it up! Oh, I almost forgot! Keep the volume low on those electronic open hi-hats! :)
