What is the 'channels' parameter?

Some queries can be sent with a channel-range parameter which will filter results based on the module's number of pattern channels.

Syntax

 channels=<XX-YY>

XX being the lower channel limit and YY being the upper limit.

The upper limit can be left out to not limit the maximum number of channels:

 channels=<XX->

For example; channels=10-50 would return modules with 10 to 50 channels. channels=32- would find modules having 32 or more channels.

Note that the number of pattern channels does not necessarily correspond to the number of actually used channels: Some pattern channels may be left entirely empty (which we do not check), and some formats (e.g. IT, MPTM and MT2) have New Note Actions, which allow more than one note to be played on a channel at a time.
