Sometimes you want to compose something great, something epic, but come across techincal limitations and draw back. Luke did not become frightened and chose another way - he composed a SNES-styled music. A rational decision. This tune really reminds me about a wide variety of music from SNES console. Same quality, same music solutions, same impressions - that's the key. Background strings are not full varied - this disturbs a little. As for me this tune is a bit longer it should be, cause it sounds boring near the end. To avoid this Luke used a mood change - music becomes softer, a some pieces of sadness appeared. But cause the main line still have no change, the atmosphere left with no change. Well varied, interesting and fully operational work. Because of its little size, this track won't surprise you with extraordinary samples quality - they're just at the appropriate level. They're oftenly been cut by another samples (sharp notes change), single volumes are sometimes jumping out. Noise level is normal, panning is ballanced. If you're a fan of SNES music, you should try this one. Otherwise you can be disappointed by its technical implementation.

When I was much younger, I enojyed playing something live and totally chaotic at piano. A music only for myself. At the beginning this track looks the same - close listeners choice. Untargeted sound effect, pads and keys chaos - not a tasty thing. After the second minute this mod suddenly becomes much more interesting, much more harmonized and ballanced. Over one minute of responsibility and it changes again - back to the chaos, at least now this chaos is ballanced a little. Very ambiguous application. I've no doubts an artist knew, what was he doing, but failed to achieve commonly acceptable result. Panning is unbalanced - most parts of this tune is off-centered. Samples are good, they're not sharp, sound enough decently. And song info is little factual - I can't define its title. Unpolished, unfinished thing for sure. It don't need serious corrections, but it really need a gloss.

There is a classic solution in JRPGs: if an artist needs to compose music for a sad moment, usually he choose a style, that covers you with sadness, regret, pain. This mod looks like mentioned. As I think, an artist tried to simulate the live perfomance. Although the track looks like this. Tempo, volume, "keystrokes" - everything is changing online, creating a very sad atmosphere of some loss. At the same time this idea looks unfinished (unpolished?), cause in the whole the tune sounds a bit chaotic, ulterior. Something from deep creativity. At least, I like this track - it sounds originally, has a great atmosphere and something inside it. There're really some salt in this. Samples was well picked, it's hard to note some bad words about'em. But they're overmixed a little - sounds kneaded. Is that a special feature or just a bug of my accoustics? A guitar sample sounds a bit sharp, almost an ear strike. Fluite sample at background near the end of this track sounds mechanical. Nothing more to catch out.

Ah! How much traps are kept by Love for us... That's what did I think during introduction chords. Next chords reminds me about cross-country run. :) Partically epical introduction medley truns into fast and tender (is this word not out of place here?) dance sequence. Introudction reminds me about some works by Chris Huelsbeck and I'm not talking about ripping or tributing here - just a little notes. Let's divide this track on three parts. I said enough about intro, two parts left. The second part filled with crying leads, third - with fast pads. The tune is closed with a mix of these two parts. Sounds fairly, playback length corresponds tune variation. It's a pity it ends so suddenly. As a reviewer I'm forced to spread about technical perfection or crap here. And do I need this? Technical elemets of this track are not stunning, I doubt whether anybody can reveal something new here. Very good, ballanced track. Separate roughies grinding is not vital.

The title makes me await for the long composition, feelings full, but with some piece of tragic. We have just three minutes in cash. Saying frankly, tune is sounding somehow indistinctly. Introduction is crumpled, the main line comes to quickly and varied a little during playback time. On the other hand we have a very full, complex sound and a musc line intersting more or less. I like work with strings, especially at background. In the same time I dislike drums - ordinal, busily. As for my taste the title was not well selected. Overall impression says about sun, spinning around you. This track has a taste of summer, not love. Shifting up pads at the end looks damnly good. I used word "crumpled" while talking about introduction. Basically, thjis is a good determination for technical side. Good panning, good samples quality and samples work at the first side of scales. Sound jumble and acute drums at other hand. There is a ballance overall, but tune can be carried out better.

When I read a title at first time, I thought this will be a pop track, a fun for everyone. And introduction aimed I was right, but... After romantic piano fingering there comes a tuneful enough break beat. Yes, it's an expected fun for everyone! But I need to admit this is a very unexpected music solution. In the whole, this track looks complete. May be there are some rough edges, although they do not attract the listener impression. I think this tune is a bit longer then it should be, cause melody part is not well varied. However, that's only for personal taste. At last music part is done very well. There are some detunes in the middle of the song due to some sound impositions. There are also some panning fallings, it's hard to understand speeches at background. (But do I need to understand'em? Speech can also be used as a music.) Synth samples at the end are sounding heavy a little, this disturbs. Good technics in an amicable way.

The advantage of dance music lies within it - you can dislike such style, but it keeps you movin' on. Current composition is usual for its style, ordinal "move-your-ass" track. Said above does not mean it's poor or lame - just a track to be forgotten after it ends. And a bit boring in the common. Good beat, good speed, good tempo. Volume and panning are set well. I did not hear any redundant noise. In the truth, technical side of this track is equal to musical - ordinally good work.

Strange, hallucinatory composition. It consists of many short and varied parts, but each of'em has a seal of incompleteness upon it. Although in the whole these parts leave a picture complete enough to understand your taste. Strange, very strange and unwonted composition. That's how an experiment should be. Good sample work, brave panning, deep bass and drums. As for me, I'd made something in another way here(f.i. some samples are panned, some are not). A technically hard work. Full four!

Coming over music is changing to a crying impression, touch of pain. I think this one is a nice sample of classic rock ballad, except this is not a rock. There are too many background simular piano touches, not enough sound power to complete the impression, but in the whole it's a very good and animated composition. I found no serious bugs or missed shots within this module. It's well balanced, samples quality is on the level, no problems with panning and volume. A usual well-done work.

Not any genre can be tracked with enough quality. Sometimes the main problem is to give enough power to the track, cause it sounds poor without it. That's our case - needs more, much more power in the melody, at the backround, within drum line. In the whole sounds acceptable, fairly varied. In an amicable way there left enough work to be finished. As I said, this one sounds poor. That's because some samples were taken good, some wern't. Sometimes drum works are dashing out from the panning. At least, no serious troubles.

Also known as "the russian style", it left forked impressions. Music from ex-USSR sounds fresh, interesting and original enough. But there are also some surpluses in some elements like background works, specail effects, themes. This one has a very running start, but after one minute in stopped evolving. Foolish background squeak and scratches beside the point kills this track completely. Except squeak and scratches, this tune is ballanced well enough. Samples are qualitative, volume and panning are at the required point (except some little volume jumps). Technical side is better, then musical.

Introducing as rock, this one continues much more simular to the pop. Mixing genres is almost a good idea, but little melody variation grades this. This track needs some polish, some of these little charms, that are usually making perfection of music. I can't say something really bad about this track - it just looks usual. You listened it, you forgot it. Samples are sounding sharp at some parts. At other side their quality is very good, no problems with placing'em and volumes. From technical point of view this song needs nothing to add or correct.

The beginnig is oftenly much more attractive then an end. It's simular with this case. Introduction was somehow fresh, prettily, but after a first minute only a simplicity left. With all said above I don't like a "sound mess" near the end. Usual music, such tunes never end. I don't like a keys panning at introduction - looks sharp a bit. Melody from app. 1:10 should be amplified a bit - it is merging with background. There are some sample fallings time to time. Nothing serious at all.

Dreams are different. Some are sweet, some are mechanical. The problem of this composition lays within its title - too mechanical. It's tracked well, nothing really to keep up, but its a victim of a genre - needs something... live? Or these dreams look like a chain of ordinals. Nothing impressive from a technical side - normal panning, normal volume, normal samples. Undoubtely, XeeGee knows how to track. The only thing disturbs me is a short trance sequences - enlargin'em will be a good shot.

As I understand music, any tune should have a case, a goal to be written. If so a listener should gain an impression, a view of the scene, should understand the sense of a tune. In this case I was not able to feel anything. Just about two minutes of ordinal music. It can be used anywhere in plenty of various conditions. Not a bad sound for a small filesize, it sounds clear enough. I found some panning troubles - samples are too scattered over the center. Background is prevailing over the theme, it's no good. The whole sound is too sharp.
