I would buy the crap out of this if it were on playstation 4. I could just plug in my keyboard and mouse and have at it.
;D

This was more probable on the PS3 before they dropped the Linux support. Heck, maybe even PS2. Remember when it had Linux?
I don't see pailes purchasing console developer licenses to go about this the route game developers do.
For anybody else to do it... Yeah, the code is freely available but it's under open source license. The proprietary console software development kits and the open source licensed MilkyTracker are probably all sorts of incompatible. MilkyTracker would need to be adapted to the consoles and its license says these changes need to be made public but that would expose the workings of those consoles which you're definitely not allowed to do under your console developer license.

Besides, why exactly would you want it to run on a PS4? What kind of bonus would it give you? If you really want to use Milky on your TV set (if that's the intention), a better solution might be to simply get a Raspberry Pi or similar small and inexpensive Linux device, put Milky on it and then connect it to the TV.

I would like to create, and it would have the share button on ps4. That way more people can share how they produce their tracks. I don't know anyone personally that tracks music. A multi controlled or dual player tracker would be awesome to me..i.e. have someone make the drum beat while the other does the bass and melody or whatever. I'm just a dreamer.

None of what you mentioned requires Milky being ported to the PS4, though.

It's just about access to more people for me. Also turning tracking into a multiplayer editor would be interesting to me. I know the programming would probably be a pain.
I had a raspberry pi I setup as a gift with schism tracker on it. I can connect my computer to the tv as well. I probably should have posted this in a different section, my apologies.
