Hi everyone, i just startet tracking. So im a real newbee..
I use the OpenMPT and ive got a question:
How can i sample Amiga games?
If I open them with OMPT the sound files are broken or the program cant read them.
can you help me?
thanks

What do you mean with "sampling" them? (Which I bet you don't have the permission to anyway). Most games in the Amiga days were packed in some way, and if you try to open a diskette image (adf file), it's no wonder if it doesn't open as a module (lol). More info needed, e.g. what games, what files.

most amiga games have had their music ripped out already, and could be available in module format already, nice and easy to load into your OpenMPT. Just need to find out what exactly you're trying to do, as saga said :D

ah ok, so where can i find the files in module format?
-
Depends which game, are you going to specify or not? :)

I think he wants us to use our crystal balls, however I'm afraid that mine's broken. :D

I dont know I just wanna remix some stuff or jamming with the tracker^^

Well, if you don't even know what game music you want to listen to, we certainly can't help you. ._.
-
hm.. ins't there a site or something with some amiga music files or something?
-
You are visiting that site right now. We have plenty of modules from old amiga games, you just have to find them. And we can't help you finding them if you don't tell us what games you are actually looking for.

ah ok sorry :) but thank you
