Finally got around to scanning this in :)

Funny how they forgot to publish the web site address, isn't it? I even checked on the coverdisk, not a mention.

For those that want to keep up to date with ongoing or new competitions (tracking/music) then you can now do so via the Events & Compos RSS Feed.

If you have a compo to announce, all you need to do is post it up as a new topic in the Events & Compos Forum.

Demoparties, Events & Compos / RSS Feed for Events & Compos
« on: February 04, 2008, 10:47:45 »
Note: Demoparties nearly always have music competitions, including tracked music competitions. Some of the parties allow remote entries (you do not have to attend the party to participate in the competition) but you will have to check the rules of each party, make no assumptions.

Anyone may post compo/party/scene event announcements on this forum, and they will then appear on the RSS feed.

NOTE: You may delete your own topics and/or any replies to them in order to keep them tidy. Please delete your topic in it's entirety when your compo has expired, or you feel the need for it to be removed. Deleted topics are sent to a recycle bin which the site administrator can move various archive-worthy posts to the Archive sub forum.

News regarding Renoise (Tracker)

"As of as few minutes ago, the Renoise demo for Linux is now available. Renoise is a contemporary software application based on the heritage and development of tracker styled music sequencers. Its primary use is the composition of music using samples (WAV, AIFF, FLAC, OGG, MP3) and MIDI sequencing of VSTi soft synths. A free (as in beer) binary is available for Linux users here."

Bug Reports / [fixed] Search Issue
« on: January 27, 2008, 20:04:48 »
In the search box at the top of the site, not all search types are stored when you perform a search. i.e., if searched for a title, this option will be shown when the site is reloaded. but if you search for an instruments text, it will reset to "filename" after you performed the search.
