Title: Number Of Channels Used

It would be a good way to know if that module is applicable with the tracker/player that you use.

Say, you want an IT module, but with only 32 channels to be used (your tracker/player only supports up to said number of channels). You can refer to the aforementioned to be notified of whether the number exceeds the supported channels for the tracker/player or not.

Yes, I thought about that before, but it'll require the database to be rescanned first, and more importantly, the API to be extended.

The API now returns the number of channels for each module, the same information is displayed on module pages (and search pages when showing full module information) on ModArchive. In the next few days, I will also make this information searchable.
