Title: Milkytracker freezes from fullscreen
Post by: juki on October 28, 2009, 02:35:47
Hi there  :)

I'm on Ubuntu 9.04.
Whenever I use MT it freezes in ~10 min intervals for around one minute and goes to windowed mode.
The mouse is still working, I can i.e. click play song and the song is played.
Keyboard isn't working, cursorkeys etc don't do anything.
After around one minute MT goes back to fullscreen by itself and everything is normal
for about 10 minutes, when the circle begins again :)

It's quite annoying, and I don't know if it's maybe a hardware related problem.
I am using Alsa with the onboard soundchip (Realtek ALC889) from my mainboard.

In the Terminal there aren't any error messages, but in the process monitor it says  "hrtimer_nanosleep" all the time for Milky, dunno if it's normal.

Regards
juki

I can't see how this can be a bug in Milkytracker, most probably the fault exists elsewhere on your system.

did you try to set another screen resolution and/or turn your screensaver off..

omg this is embarrising :D

It was the screensaver indeed, I was so sure that I had turned it off, but it only was turned to black screen and I thought that was some Energysaving setting with the screen turning black .... :)

Whatever, yeah works now ;D
