Title: Ability to center channel collumns
Post by: bLUEbYTE on September 27, 2007, 23:35:58
Hello,
I thought it would be neat to be able to center the track columns especially when you have very few number of channels - otherwise you keep looking to the far left edge of the screen and this causes a little discomfort with a 1280x... monitor after some time (at last for me).
Thanks a lot for the fantastic tracker!

I track in 800x600 for the best screen layout but working with 6 or less channels exhibits the same problem you describe. What I do is change to a bigger font and increase the column spacing in the config so that the pattern covers the whole screen again.

Yeah what I meant is some automated way (a setting) to do this while keeping the font and spacing size unchanged.
By the way I'm a fan of your 'slumberjack' raina  :)

With center you mean the same feature like the row is being centered?

No what I mean is just this:
Draw the channel columns centered like this:
|=============================| title bar etc
|=============================| osciallators
|                     |ch1|ch2|                        |
|                     |.....|......|                        |
|                     |.....|......|                        |

|: your monitor's borders

It's not a big deal really...
