Title: insert rows not possible on newer apple keyboards
Post by: neoneye on September 03, 2009, 22:23:59
The insert key has been replaced by a (fn) key!
Here are some images. http://www.apple.com/keyboard/ (http://www.apple.com/keyboard/).

Maybe add an alternative way to insert an empty row.

Kind regards.

Can you show me a Mac keyboard with an insert key? I don't think this is anything new, correct me if I'm wrong. (Of course I would like Insert to be where Fn is, the latter just seems utterly pointless on a full sized keyboard.) Anyway, aren't people mostly buying Macbooks where a whole bunch of keys are missing? That might be one of the reasons why there are 3 alternative ways of inserting rows, available in the application menu > Preferences...

The reason why it's there is because this is a Mac specific issue/setting.
