Friends of cables! natrium42 has come up with a fantastic new product, the DSerial Edge (http://www.electrobee.com/product_info.php?ref=2&products_id=45)! It's a DSerial AND an adapter card with microSD slot in one device.
Hardware MIDI connection via DSerial is supported by DSMI, and thus the DSerial can be used to connect NitroTracker and dozens of other DS music apps to MIDI hardware.
Order now!!111

Hello,
Since this sounds too good to be true, i thought i'd ask:
Are you saying that if i get a DSerial Edge, put in my microSD card and launch glitchDS or cellsDS (these apps already support midi-out via WIFI using DSMI) and then connect a midi cable, i'll be able to sequence my hardware samplers / synths without any hacking?

Yes, exactly! The only thing you need is a MIDI cable that connects the DSerial's pins to your MIDI hardware. The cable is very easy to make and schematics are available from natrium42's wiki.

Hmmm....
...This makes NitroTracker seem a lot more usable for live work (DS MIDI WiFI always glitches out on me)
...But can I afford $79 at the moment?

YES! it works out-of-the-box with nitrotracker and cellsDS! i'm so happy

Hello !
Anyone knows Game IO and if there is a tutorial to sync it in midi with nitrotracker?
http://www.electrobee.com/gameio-p-51.html
(Ps : Oxtob do you think there will be a midi clock sync in the next version ?)
Thanks !
