Title: 3-in1 ezflash ram pack.
Post by: The Onyxmizer on December 26, 2008, 18:12:15
(i think that's what it is called.)

I own an EDGE DS card, and run it on an NDS. I need to buy a rampack, and the 3-in-1 ez (gba sized) is catching my eye. For 20 bucks I thinbk  it's worth testing it out, but I just want to make sure that it WILL work ahead of time.

Can I just throw the ram in there and have my DS read it?

NitroTracker does not support RAM expasions such as the Opera RAM pack or any Slot-2 memory card. This is becase the DS's sound hardware cannot play back sound from Slot-2. So for now you have to live with the DS's 4MB internal RAM.

i'm so sad.

:c

So, even if I buy the EZflash V slot 1 cart, which is MADE to use the ram pack, It wont utilize the extra ram?

Unfortunately not. As EZFlash say on their site, the RAM in the extension card is for use with the Opera browser. Software has to support the extra RAM, otherwise you will only have 4MB.
