Title: Macbook octave changes
Post by: Freerunner on March 16, 2010, 19:23:53
Hi, I'm new to Milkytracker, and the forums :)
i have used it a few times on a PC, but after downloading it on my macbook i have encountered a bit of a problem.

I cant change the octave of the note i want! The 'F' keys just do the general function assigned to them by my macbook, like changing the brightness etc, and do nothing within milkytracker.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks ; :D

What about the Fn key?

(It's also possible to toggle the F-key behavior in System Preferences but that has the nasty side-effect of requiring two hands (or one VERY big one ;) to change sound volume on a MacBook. Which brings me to FunctionFlip (http://kevingessner.com/software/functionflip/), a nice little app that let's you individually set the F-keys to their generic or system/media functions, naturally all toggle-able with Fn.)
