Title: Guitar Samples

I am looking for guitar samples (like the ones used in Dire Straits songs). Where can I find any?

I would like some 12 string samples as well.

I could rip the 12-string guitar samples from my Yamaha. Beware, though, it kind of sucks. :P

i have a fairly recent 200$ casio that has some alright guitars i think
i ripped some of them, but they got kind of clipped on the attack
i can send them to you if you want, though
ive got acoustic, muted electric, clean, and distorted

You may want to pop into irc (espernet) and ask some samples from #metalscene - or just register at the forums of www.trackedaggression.com and ask around from there. I've not been too active in the metalscene for a while but someone in there is constantly making new guitarpacks so you shouldn't run out of choices.

steve stevens guitars or hans zimmer guitars AKAI CDs are decent source of nice guitar samples. not as good as real instrument, though =)
