Title: Intro: c2nn0nf0dd3r
Post by: c2nn0nf0dd3r on July 16, 2007, 20:37:56
I'm an self trained compu-geek from the mid 80's when I got my first PC at 9yrs old.
I had to train myself from technical reference books (CPU instruction sets and "Basic" reference guide) & am pretty good at just about anything computer... software or hardware.

I was first introduced to tracking by the Future Crew with their '93 Compo
"2nd Reality" (on a 486 dx2 it ran fairly well), and have been listening to MODs ever since.

Now I'm a professional programmer who gets plenty of time to listen to songs while working.

I tried to write a MOD many years ago and found that I've got no creative musical talent.  Given that, I'll just try to provide constructive critiques for songs that others have made.   (Eveyone's got an opinion... Just like an essential body part.)

Welcome to the forums Jyb! How far have you got with tracking since? You into composing some of your own stuff?

Thank you.

Well, i still have some difficulties with all the features, like the effects, but i am working and experimenting !

And i have started a composition, but it will not be full song, more like a sample for a ambient guitar/voice song with a 7/8 time signature (yes it will sound weird :D )

weird is nice. I like weird. Spam about that tune you're working on at the Music Discussion forum later (I mean, when you release it). :)
