There are some way to convert .MIDI musics to .MOD musics?

.MIDI musics is so much dependent of the quality of the samples of sound card. There are some way to convert this .mid to .mod usando good sound samples?

I don't know about MOD but with Modplug Tracker you can convert MIDI to IT. The result is not the best, though.
