Title: Problems?
Post by: Ribby on March 20, 2008, 21:31:12
yeah, I can't log in with ma artist account, which I did first. I didn't read that I have to register in forums first yall.

So resend the activation email for me. The Artist's Name is "Ribby". HOpefully, I don't have to get seperate emails for modarchive.

and why I can see my own email in the forums? I thought it's hiding from public.

Are you the public? ;) only moderators / administrators and yourself can see the email address ;)

You have not activated your account because your mail provider blocked the activation mail.

Code: [Select]
<email removed>: host sbcmx8.prodigy.net[207.115.36.22] said: 553

   MAIL FROM command)

There's nothing I can do about the fact your ISP is too paranoid to accept the mail.

Do I hear a "please"? Sheesh.

I cannot resent activation emails. I'll just manually activate it for you. Change your email address if you want to get emails in future from this site.

YOU can see your OWN email address on the forums at all times. It is hidden for everyone else if you have chosen to keep it private on your forum profile.

You're welcome. And welcome to the site/forums, and perhaps even the IRC chat if you have a go with it. :)

Log into the site with the username and password you registered with the other day (not related to the forums). Then, if you're an artist, you can see on the menu a link to upgrade your account to artist.

The upload link is on the menu all the time when you are logged in as a member or an artist. It's best to have the artist setting set first before uploading so you can add the modules to your profile automatically.

This is also answered in the Help:
